Safety information
Warning: The power source produces high voltage AC power just like
the power found in home power outlets. Do not put any other
object into the power source except standard electrical device
plugs. Failure to use the correct AC power plug could cause
electrical shock or fire.
Fully charge the battery for five hours before you use it the first
time.
Do not use the power source near flammable materials.
Avoid leaving the power source in a hot vehicle.
Avoid exposing the power source to direct sunlight because it
can cause overheating.
Put the power source in a the place with adequate ventilation.
Keep the power source away from all moisture and liquid.
Turn off the power source or remove the connector from the
vehicle lighter plug while not using it.
Do not insert any metal material into the ventilation opening
on the power source.
Do not drop the power source on a hard surface.
Do not press hard on the power source.
Charge the internal battery at least once within every three
months to avoid battery damage.
Keep away from children. The power source produces
dangerous high voltages.
Never use the power source with devices that require more
the 80 W of power.
Make sure that you use 14 AWG or larger wire. This ensures
that the power source has ample power to function correctly.
Also make sure the polarities are connected correctly.

Using the power source
Most electrical tools, appliances, and AV devices have labels that
indicate the power consumption in amps or watts. Make sure that
the power consumption of the device you want to operate does
not exceed the rated power of the power supply.
If you are not sure what the devices power consumption is, you can
safely try to operate the device from the power source. The built-in
overload protection shuts down the power source if the connected
device’s power consumption exceeds the power source’s capacity.
If the overload protection shuts down the power source, you need
to unplug the device before the power source will restart.
Resistive loads are the easiest for the power source to run. However,
larger resistive loads, such as electronic stoves or heaters, usually
require more wattage than the power supply can deliver on a
continuous basis. Inductive loads, such as some televisions, may
require two to six times their wattage rating to start up. The most
demanding in this category are those that start under load, such as
compressors and pumps.
Testing is the only definitive way to determine whether the power
supply can start a device and how long the device will run.
4 USB ports Plug USB devices, such as mobile phones or MP3
players, into these ports. The power supply charges
the connected device’s battery.
5 Ventilation opening Helps cool the power supply. Do not block or insert
objects into this opening.
6 110 V AC power connector Plug an electrical device into this connector.

vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket.
Or, connect the other end of the AC power adapter cord to a
power outlet.
3 Leave the power source connected for five hours if this is the
first time you have used it.
Connecting an electrical device
To connect an electrical device:
1 Plug the electrical devices power cord into the 110 V AC port
on the front of the power supply.
2 Turn on the power supply and connected device.
Connecting a USB device
To connect a USB device:

run the connected
device.
The connected device has a greater
power rating than the power source.
Use a device with a lower power
rating.
Starting power of the device is up to
two times that of its rated power.
Use a device that uses a lower starting
