2 Safety Information
Please read this operating instruction manual thoroughly. Under no
circumstances open the device or complete any repair work your-
self. In the case of claims under the terms of guarantee, contact
your sales outlet. We reserve the right to make technical and optical
modifications to the product during the course of product improve-
ment.
1. Intended use
This babyphone enables you to monitor your child(s) whereever you
are in or arround your house.
2. Installation location
The equipment must be set up in the vicinity of a 230 Volt mains
power outlet.
Place the babyphone on a level, non−slip surface. Normally, the
footpads on the babyphone do not leave any marks on the surface
where it is located. However, due the diverse types of paints and
surfaces which come into question, it cannot be fully ruled out that
the footpads will leave marks on the surface on which it is located.
3. Power supply
Only use the SWITEL power adapter plug supplied because other
power supplies could destroy the babyphone. Do not open the
power adapter plug. There is a risk of fatal injury if the power adap-
ter plug is opened and not disconnected from the power supply.
4. Information on disposal
The implementation of European law in national laws and directives
obliges you to dispose of consumable goods appropriately. This ser-
ves to protect both persons and the environment.
The adjacent symbol indicates that electrical and
electronic apparatus no longer required must be
disposed of separate from domestic waste.
Equipment which is old or has outlived
its service life must be disposed of at a suitable
collection point provided by the public waste authorities.
Batteries and power packs must be disposed of at
the point of sale or at the appropriate collection points
provided by the public waste authorities.
Packaging materials must be disposed of according to local re-
gulations.
5. Important
Before using the wireless babyphone, check the sound
transmission. This checks whether units are placed out of
range of each other, sound transmission should be checked on
a regular basis as follows: Have an adult softly speak into the
"Baby unit", sounds transmitted from the baby’s room and
should be heard clearly via "Parent unit" in another room.

Do not place the "baby unit" and "parent unit" too closely during
Operation. Otherwise, the units may start resonating.
When use the power adapter in house, do not place it closely
to your child, under a window or in any other place where your
child might reach it.
The power adapter should not be used with other equipment in
any circumstances. And any other product adapter is not
suitable for this System.
Following factors may fluctuate the Operation distance, such
as battery power, obstructions of wall, radio waves and terrain.
Please try to switch to another channel or move "parent unit"
closer to "baby unit" to get better performance.
3 Feature List
Congratulation, you have purchased our wireless babyphone. It in-
cludes a "baby unit" (Transmitter), a "parent unit" (Receiver) and
one AC power adapter as shown in fig. I.

4 Installation
1. Battery Installation (all the batteries not included)
Only use CE certificated batteries
Open the battery cover on both units as shown in fig. II.
Install 4 "AAA" batteries in correct polarity direction into the
"baby unit"; install 3 "AAA" batteries with correct polarity
direction into the "parent unit".

Replace the battery cover.
2. Power Adapter Connecting
Only use CE certificated adapter
Plug power adapter (included) to the DC 9V Jack of "baby unit"
and AC outlet (Fig. III )
For a long term usage at a fix location in house of the "parent
unit", you can buy a power adapter (9V DC, 200 mA, female
plug centre negative (−)) to plug the power adapter
(not included) to the DC 9V jack of "parent unit" and AC outlet
(Fig. IV).
Set channel selection of "baby unit" and "parent unit" to the
same channel "A" or "B".
When the units will not be used for a long time, should
remove all the batteries, otherwise, the battery may leak
and damage the units.
Each of the "baby unit" and "parent unit" has a Iow battery
indicator. If the Iow battery LED lights up, please replace
new batteries.
The adapter of both units Output DC 9V 200 mA female
plug, centre negative (−) is recommended.
If the units are both installed with batteries and connected
adapters. Even AC power failure, the units will continue to
work with batteries.
Only Use CE Certificated Power Supply
5 Operation
1. "Baby Unit" (Transmitter)
Make sure the AC power adapter is connected or batteries are
installed correctly.
Place the "Baby unit" near the baby’s bed, making sure that the
microphone is placed in the best position for picking up baby’s
sound. (Fig. V)
Ensure the unit to be out of reach from your child. Never
place it inside baby’s bed or playpen!
Turn the power switch ON and the power indicator LED will
light up. When sound is picked up by the built−in microphone,
the "baby unit" starts transmitting signal automatically to
"parent unit". The transmission will stop when no sound is
picking up any more.
Set the night light switch as you want: OFF mode no night light
function; AUTO mode activate by voice; ON mode night light
will continuing light up.

2. "Parent Unit" (Receiver)
Make sure that the batteries are installed or the adapter is
connected correctly.
Place the "parent unit" near to the parents’ location (Fig. V).
Turn the POWER/VOLUME control on and adjust volume as
required, the power indicator LED will light up. If a sound signal
is received from the "baby unit", the "Parent unit" indicator LED
will light up.
3. Channel Selection
The unit set 2 different channels for radio Signal transmission.
If the reception is poor or interference radio Signals are being
picked up, please change switch to the other channel in order
to get optimum reception.
Always make sure that channel switches to the same
channel for both units.
4. Tuning The Voice Activating Sensitivity
In normal circumstance the factory preset sensitivity level to
the most applications is recommended, unless you feel voice
transmission difficult, you can use a flat screwdriver to adjust it
as below (Fig.VI):
a) To turn clockwise to increase sensitivity.
b) To turn counter anti−clockwise. to reduce the sensitivity.
5. Belt Clip
After the batteries is connected to the "parent unit", you can
carry it for your convenience at your home by using the belt
clip. (Fig. VII )
6 Trouble Shouting
1. Non−operation situation
Check the "baby unit" and the "parent unit" is at the same
channel.
Ensure the "baby unit" and the "parent unit" batteries or power
adapter are connected properly.
2. Wireless RF transmission range too small
Check if the battery is Iow. If so, please replace new batteries
Check if there is interference, remove the interference source.
Adjust voice sensitivity according to point 4 in Operation
section to get Optimum transmission.
