CONCORD EYE-Q DUO is a versatile digital camera that offers a wide range of features and capabilities. With its 2.0 megapixel CCD sensor, you can capture stunning images with sharp details and vibrant colors. The 3x optical zoom lens allows you to get closer to your subjects, while the 4x digital zoom provides even more magnification. The camera also features a built-in flash, so you can take great photos even in low-light conditions.

In addition to its still image capabilities, the CONCORD EYE-Q DUO can also record video clips with sound. The videos have a resolution of 640x480 pixels and a frame rate of 30 frames per second. You can also use the camera as a webcam, so you can video chat with friends and family.

1. How do I download files to my computer using Mass Storage?

The camera has two different modes corresponding with different transfer

methods to download files. Before you connect the camera to your computer,

you must install the camera driver on your PC. If you want to download the

files from the camera to the PC using Mass Storage, you should set the

camera mode to DSC mode. Follow the steps below to set the camera to DSC

mode:

1. Turn on the camera.

2. Set the camera to Menu/Setup/Driver/DSC.

3. Turn off the camera.

4. Connect the camera to the computer.

Open the My Computer icon and double click on the Removable Disk drive.

The files will be displayed.

6. Save the files you want.

Note: Restart your computer after you install the camera driver on your PC.

2. I am having difficulties using Arcsoft Photo Impression. What should I

do?

The camera has two different ways to download pictures. If you are having

difficulties transferring pictures, most likely you have not set the camera to the

mode that corresponds with the transfer method you have selected.

Follow the steps below to download pictures using Arcsoft Photo Impression:

1. Turn on the camera.

2. Set the camera to Menu/Setup/Driver/PC.

3. Turn off the camera and connect the camera to the computer.

4. Launch Arcsoft Photo Impression.

5. Click the Camera/Scanner button, then click on the drop-down list under

select source and choose Concord Eye-Q Duo 2000 DC mem.

6. Click on the Acquire button. Another window will appear showing the

contents (pictures) in the memory card, and options on how to handle

them.

7. Select the picture you would like to view, edit or save by clicking on it. The

selected image will be highlighted by a border. You may also click on

Select All to choose all pictures.

8. Click on Get Photos, the pictures will then be added to your album at the

bottom of the application.

9. Now you can edit, save, print or enhance your pictures using the buttons

on the left hand side of the screen.

Note: Make sure that you have rebooted your PC after having installed the

Arcsoft Software.

3. How do I use the camera as a web camera with Net Meeting?

The camera can be used as a web camera and video conferencing camera.

Make sure to set the camera to PC mode to use the webcam feature. And

follow the steps to set the camera to PC mode:

1. Turn on the camera.

2. Set the camera to Menu/Setup/Driver/PC.

3. Turn off the camera.

After the steps above, you can use the camera as a webcam with Net Meeting

Follow the steps below to use the webcam with Net Meeting:

1. Launch the Microsoft Net Meeting

2. Connect the camera to PC.

3. Set up a call with the person you want.

4. To start the video, click on the My Video.

5. A window will pop up. Just click on the Start button, now the camera works

as a webcam.

4. Why doesn’t the flash fire?

Ensure that the flash is set to Auto or Flash. If the batteries are weak, the flash

will not be able to recharge and as a result, it is not able to fire. Please turn off

the camera and wait a few seconds before turning it on again. If the flash still

does not fire, please replace the batteries.

5. How can I get better battery performance for my digital camera?

This camera comes with alkaline batteries. These batteries are universal,

convenient, and inexpensive. These alkaline batteries do not require a special

battery charger and they can be purchased anywhere. However, they are not

the most efficient when it comes to power.

• When power is in short supply, it is best to avoid the camera functions that

consume the most power.

1. Avoid using the LCD monitor when you want to extend the battery life.

2. Using the LCD monitor consumes the most battery power.

3. Use only the viewfinder for taking pictures.

4. Turning the zoom on and off forces the zoom lens to extend and retract with

each power cycle. Avoid using the zoom when possible.

5. Avoid using the flash.

6. Use an external card reader whenever possible.

7. Take advantage of external power sources whenever you can.

• Use rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) batteries. Have two sets of

batteries, one set in the camera and one charging or in reserve for when you

need to swap them out.

• Store charged spare batteries in the coolest place you can find (at or above

freezing) but be sure to bring cold batteries back up to room temperature

before using them.

• Store and use your camera and batteries as close to room temperature as

you can.

Note: Rechargeable batteries often get up to two times as many shots on a

fresh charge.
