Press OK button to display channels’ list.
Press the "Menu" button and select "channel".
TV Channel list: you can change the channel in deffirent ways:
Disc format: System file FAT or NTFS.
Note:
Please don’t remove the recording device before it is unmounted.
In the "Tv Channel List", press
"4" to move a channel. Press
"4" and then a pop up window
will appear where you can input
the number of the channel where
you would like the channel
selected to be moved to.
In the “TV Channel List”, press
“1” to edit the channel.
Pressing the number (5) Key,
a window will pop up where
you can enter the new name
for the highlighted channel.
Use the (Up)(Dpwn)(Left)(Right)
keys to move around the on-
screen keyboard. Press the
OK button to enter a character.
Move the highlight bar to "OK" and press [OK] key to save the modification.
Move the highlight bar to "ESC" and press [OK] key to cancel the operation.

Press the “MENU” key to activate the main menu. Select the “Setup”
option and press the “OK” key to enter the System Setup.
There are two different ways to scan channels, Auto Scan or Channel Scan.
In the Main Menu Installation Auto Scan, Move the highlight bar to
“search” button. Press [OK] key to scan all the Channels.
In Main Menu Installation Channel Scan, set the appropriate
parameters in order to commence the manual search mode.
Move the highlight bar to the "search" button. Press the (OK) key to begin
scanning the channels.
Tuner settings: Select OFF for home external antenna; Select ON for
powered antenna.

Sleep Timer: This option lets you set the time before the set top box can go
into standby mode. The time durations you may choose from are between
10min and 120min.
Auto Standby: The STB will be automatically switched into standby
mode after three hours in active mode following the last user interaction
and/or a channel change, A message will show up on screen 2 minutes
before the unit can enter standby mode.
In Main Menu Setup Timer Setting, there are two options:
Program Timer and Sleep Timer.
With CH+/- and VOL+/- buttons you can enter the submenus and
adjust the settings.

Create the Favorite Channel List
Switch the All Channel List and Favorites Channel List
Switching between the Favourite Channels List -
1) Press the "FAV" key while viewing TV and the favourite group lists will
appear on screen
2) Using the "Up" and "Down" buttons, select the group you wish to enter
3) Press "OK" to view the list of the channels inside each group". Use the
"Up" or "Down" buttons to shift channels within the group.
Note: To exit favourite channel viewing, please press any numerical button
to go back into normal TV viewing mode.
In the Channel List, press the “ ” or “ ” key to switch “All Channel
List” and different “Favorites Channel List”.

The following operations can be used in the EPG menu:
Switch List: Press”2” to switch between program list and event list.
Play Booking: Select the event and press "OK" to book the program
so that it plays when the program starts.
REC Booking: Select the event and press the "REC" button to book
for recording.
Booking List: Press “1” to display the booking list.
Press the “EPG” key to display all the information of the channels.
For the Recording or Time shift functions, a USB High Speed disk is
needed. 1 hour video recording will need about 2Gbytes space.
(The storage space is related to the program content.)
USB port can play MPEG, JPEG, BMP, MP3 and WMA.
USB flash disk 2.0 high speed/USB hard disk is supported on this Set
Top Box. But when a USB hard disk is used, please use a power
adapter to connect the hard disk driver.
1. When the USB disk is mounted, you can enter into: Main Menu -
Media+ - Media Player menu to play music, videos or browse pictures
(jpeg).
2. In Main Menu - Media+ - PVR Manage, the recorded videos will be listed.
You can preview, block, obtain information, delete or rename the files.

A USB disk is needed to record and to use the timeshifting function.
Recording
After pressing the [REC] key, the recording begins and a “REC” bar appears.
Timeshifting(512MB minimum free space)
The default recording duration is 3 hours. When the “REC” bar is displayed,
press the “REC” key, and a “Record Duration box” appears, press the [OK]
key and you can set the recording duration. Press the [OK] key again to
confirm and then the [EXIT] key to exit duration setup.
When the “REC” Bar is displayed, press [EXIT] key then the “REC” bar will
disappear. A “REC” icon is displayed on the up-left corner.
To stop the recording, press the [STOP] key and after you confirm, the
recording will stop.
It is advised to use a high speed USB device (USB pen drive or external
hard disk) to record your content. The compatibility with all USB items in
the market is not warranted. The supported system files are FAT,FAT32,
NTFS.
While one channel is being recorded, you cannot watch another channel.
In the “Main Menu Media+ PVR configuration” menu, you can see
the following functions:
1. Preferred Storage: USB partition (select the logic unit tostore the datas)
2. TimeShift Time (min): you can reserve the time of TimeShifting.
From 10 to 60 minutes.
3. Record Type:
“TS” Transport Stream format (*.dvr). This format can only be played in
Set Top Box.
“PS” Program Stream format (*.mpg). This format can be played in your
computer.
4. Stand-by mode: After recording finished, if you want the decoder to be off,
set this option to “ON”
5. TimeShift to Rec:
“On” When you press “REC” key, the data in timeshift buffer will be stored
in the recorded file.
“Off” When you start to record, it just records from the current time.

“On” enable the TimeShifting
“Off” disable the TimeShifting
1. Use the arrow keys ” ” or “ ” to navigate through the channel list.
When you reach the channel you want to watch, Press “OK” key.
It is possible to change channels with CH+/CH- key or by inserting the
numbers of the channel.

3. Press "1" to enter the submenu and you will be able to view the
following options at the bottom of the screen:
- "Favorite"
- "Lock"
- "Skip"
- "Delete"
- "Rename"
You can create up to 8 Favorite Channel groups.
Press the "OK" key to display the "Channel List" and move the desired
channel
Press "1 -Edit" and then press "1-Favor" to show up the 8 different
Favorite Channel Groups. Move to the desired group using the CH +/-
keys and press "OK" to assign the channel selected to the group.

Program Timer:
In this section, it is possible to set a maximum of 8 program timers which
allows the unit to turn on automatically and record.
Timer Number: it is possible to set up to 8 timers
Timer Mode: it is possible to set timer(once - daily - weekly - monthly - off)
Timer Service: set TV service or Radio service
Wakeup Channel: Set the channel you want the unit to turn on to and/or
record.
Month: set the month
Date: set the date
Day: set the day of the week
Note: month, date, day are active based on Timer mode
Time: set the time
Auto Record: set ON/OFF
Turn the recording mode to ON and under this section you may set the
duration of the recording. Press OK and use the numeric keys to set the
duration of the recording. Press the OK button to confirm and exit to save
the inserted data.
OSD Language - Change the OSD language. Choose from the options
available on screen.
TV System -
Display Mode - NTSC/PAL/AUTO
Aspect Ratio - 16:9PB, 16:9Auto, 4:3LB, 4:3PS
Video Output - RGB/CVBS
LCN - On/Off
Auto Standby - On/Off
Region & Time - Set the region you are in and the current time.
Timer Settings - Program Timer/Sleep timer (See section 12 for more details)

button.
Using the “PLAY” “PAUSE” “FB” “FF” keys, you can watch/pause/fast
backward/fast forward the program. Pressing the “STOP” key, the unit
will exit the timeshifting mode and return to the live program.
If you set timeshift to “OFF” and you press pause button, the program
will be paused only.
To activate the timeshifting function, you need to confirm that the
“Timeshift” in”Main Menu Media+ PVR configuration ” is ON.
The video data will be stored in the “Timeshift Buffer”. When the Set Top
Box is in timeshifting mode, you can rewind and watch the program from
the begining while the unit is still recording, you just have to pause the
