▪ Fig 1. Fix handle, connector tubes and elbows with screws. Elbows need to face down.
▪ Fig 2. Fix elbows on the bottom of tank with 4 screws.
▪ Fig 3. Insert stirring assembly and rotating fan into stirring hole and at the same time and connect
them together (+ FIG. E). Insert swirling fan into the lower side from the tank and insert string as-
sembly on the top of the swirling fan.
▪ Fig 4. Insert the transmission shaft into big gear and elbow holes.
▪ Fig 5. Push bushings (2) into elbow holes from two sides (chimb facing outward) and insert split
pins on transmission shaft (inner side of elbows) (+ FIG. C).
▪ Fig 6. Mounting wheels on transmission bar: first place a washer, then place wheel and then place
another washer before placing final split pin.
▪ Fig 7. Press two covers into wheels.
▪ Fig 8. Short bracket needs to go through the bracket holders of long bracket. Long bracket can be
fixed on pre drilled holes of tank and short bracket can be fixed on elbows (+ FIG. D).
▪ Fig 9. Screw control thread into threaded receiver. To adjust the screwhead, turn dial knob to the
highest position, pull release lever and check if the opening width of the swirling fan is set to the
widest. If not, turn the screw control on the swirling fan to the left and check again by puling the
release lever on the upper handle.
3 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
For best result, adjust the spreading rate before you start.
1. Check the control wire is tightened with the threaded adjuster.
2. Turn the spreading meter rating setting until the correct number is visible in magnifier.
3. Start walking, then squeeze the trigger to open the spreader. Always push the spreader when
applying contents. When pulled backward while open, the spreader may apply an excess amount
of contents.
4 MAINTENANCE
▪ Never leave contents in the spreader. Pour leftover material back into the package and seal
tightly.
▪ After each use, wash thoroughly to remove all material in the scatterer. Hot water may be re-
quired at times to remove stubborn residue. Allow the spreader to dry naturally.
▪ Store the spreader in a clean dry place.
Note: this unit does not require lubrication.
