nstallaton and use for later reference, and before
nstallng the hob, note ts seral number n case
you need to get help from the after sales servce.
WARNING: unattended cookng on a hob wth fat
or ol can be dangerous and may result nfre.
NEVER try to extngushafre wth water, but
swtch off the applance and then cover flame e.g.
wth a ldorafre blanket.
WARNING: the applance and ts accessble parts
become hot durng use. Care should be taken to
avod touchng heatng elements. Chldren under
8 years of age must be kept away from the
applance unless they are contnuously
supervsed.
WARNING: use only hob guards desgned by the
Manufacturer of the cookng applance or
ndcated by the Manufacturer of the applance n
the nstructons for use as sutable or hob guards
ncorporated n the applance. The use of
napproprate guards can cause accdents.
WARNING: danger of fre: do not store tems on
the cookng surfaces.
Ths applance can be used by chldren aged from
8 years and above and people wth reduced
physcal, sensory or mental capabltes or lack of
experence and knowledge f they have been
gven supervson or nstructon concernng use of
the applance n a safe way and understand the
hazards 
nvolved. Chldren should be supervsed
to ensure that they do not play wth the applance.
Cleanng and user mantenance shall not be
made by chldren wthout supervson.
CAUTION: the cookng process must be
supervsed. A short term cookng process has to
be supervsed contnuously.
WARNING: f the surface s cracked, do not touch
the glass and swtch off the applance to avod the
possblty of electrc shock.
It s strongly recommended to keep chldren away
from the cookng zones whle they are n operaton
or when they are swtched off, so long as the
resdual heat ndcator s on, n order to prevent
the rsks of serous burns.
If present do not to stare nto halogen lamp hob
elements.
Ths applance s not ntended to be operated by
means of an external tmer or separate remote
control system.
Connect a plug to the supply cable that s able to
bear the voltage, current and load ndcated on the
tag and havng the earth contact. The socket must
be sutable for the load ndcated on the tag and
must be havng the earth contact connected and
n operaton. The earth conductor s yellow-green
n color. Ths operaton should be carred out by a
sutably qualfed professonal. In case of
ncompatblty between the socket and the
applance plug, ask a qualfed electrc
an to
substtute the socket wth another sutable type.
The plug and the socket must be conformed to the
current norms of the nstallaton country.
Connecton to the power source can also be
made by placng an omnpolar breaker between
the applance and the power source that can bear
the maxmum connected load and that snlne
wth current legslaton.
The yellow-green earth cable should not be
nterrupted by the breaker. The socket or
omnpolar breaker used for the connecton should
be easly accessble when the applance s
nstalled.
The dsconnecton may be acheved by havng
the plug accessble or by ncorporatng a swtch n
the fxed wrng n accordance wth the wrng
rules.
If the supply cord s damaged, t must be replaced
by Manufacturer, ts servce agent or smlarly
qualfed people n order to avod a hazard. The
earth conductor (yellow-green) must be longer
than 10 mm on the termnal block sde. The
nternal conductors secton should be approprate
to the power absorbed by the hob (ndcated on
the tag). The type of power cable must be

70 mm
The Hob untsftted by attachng the Fxng Clamps suppled, usng
the holes at the base of the unt.
The dstance between the hob and any other unt or applance above t
(e.g.An extractor hood) must be no less than 70 cm .(Fgure 4)
If a hob of 60 cm sftted above an oven whch s not equpped wth fan
coolng system ts recommended that openngs are created wthnthe
bult n furnture to ensure correct arcrculaton.
The sze of these openngs must be at least 300 cm2 and placed as
shown n Fgure 5.
When there s an accessble space between the bult-n hob and the
cavty below, a dvdng wall made of nsulatng materal should be
nserted (wood or a smlar materal) (Fgure 3).
Whena75cmhobsftted over a bu
lt n oven, the latter must be fan
cooled.
Metal objects in the drawer may reach high temperatures due to
air recirculation. It is therefore recommended to use an
intermediate wood panel.
Important - The dagram nfgure 1 shows how the sealant should
be appled.
1.1 BUILDING IN
1.2. SUITABLE LOCATION
A gas-powered cooking appliance produces heat and humidity in the
area in which it is installed. For this reason you should ensure good
ventilation either by keeping all natural air passages open or by
installing an extractor hood with an exhaust flue. Intensive and
prolonged use of the appliance may require extra ventilation, such as
the opening of a window or an increase in speed of the electric fan, if
you have one.
The electric fan should be able to carry out a complete change of air in
the kitchen 3-5 times every hour. The installer should follow the
relevant national standards.
Ths applance must be nstalled n accordance wth the regulatons n
force and only used n a well ventlated space. Read the nstructons
before nstallng or usng ths applance.
If a hood can not be installed, an electric fan should be fitted to an
outside wall or window to ensure that there is adequate ventilation.
2. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION (FOR U.K. ONLY)
Brown Wre Lve Connecton
Ths applance s desgned for domestc use only. Connecton to the man
supply must be made by a competant electrcan, ensurng that all current
regulatons concernng such nstallatons are observed.
The wrng must be connected to the mans supply as follows:
Note: We do not advocate the use of earth leakage devces wth
electrc cookng applances nstalled to spur ponts because of the
«nusance trppng» whch may occur.You are agan remnded that the
applance must be correctly earthed, the manufacturer declnes any
responsblty for any event occurrng as a result of ncorrect electrcal
nstallaton.
Warnng - ths applance must be earthed
The applance must only be connected to a sutably rated spur pont, a
3pn 13 amp plug/socket s not sutable. A double pole swtch must be
provded and the crcut must have approprate fuse protecton.
Further detals of the power requrement of the ndvdual product wll
be found n the users’ nstructon and on the applance ratng plate. In
the case of bult-n product you are advsed, should you wsh to use a
longer cable than the one suppled, that a sutably rated heat resstant
type must be used.

2.1. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
By Law, ths applance must be earthed. If ths regulaton s not compled
wth, the Manufacturer wll not be responsble for any damage caused to
persons or property. If a plug s not already attached, ft a plug
approprate to the load ndcatedontheratng plate. The earth wre s
coloured yellow/green. The plug should always be accessble.
If the power supply cord s damaged thss to be replaced by a qualfed
engneer so as to prevent any potental rsk.
Before connecton, check the earthng system.
Where the Hob s connected drect to the electrcty supply, a crcut
breaker must be ftted.
The earth wre ( green and yellow coloured ) must be at least 10 mm
longer than the lve and neutral wres.
Check the data on the ratng plate, located on the outsde of the unt, to
ensure that the supply and nput voltage are sutable.
The secton of the cable used must be of the correct sze n relaton to
the absorbed power of the hob.
Please check ratng plate for the power detals and ensure that the
power supply cord s of the type 3x0.75 mm² H05 V2V2-F.

4. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Our After Sales Service Centre can provide spare parts if required.
Chromed grids and burners have a tendency to discolour with use.
This does not jeopardize the functionality of the hob.
Never use abrasves, corrosve detergents, bleachng agents or
acds. Avod any acd or alkalne substances (lemon, juce, vnegar
etc.) on the enamelled, varnshed or stanless steel sectons.
Cleanng and user mantenance shall not be made by chldren wthout
supervson
The burners can be cleaned wth soapy water. To restore therorgnal
shne, use a household stanless steel cleaner. After cleanng, dry the
burners and replace.
Chromed grds and burners
When cleanng the enamelled, varnshed or chrome sectons, use
warm soapy water or a non caustc detergent. For stanless steel use
an approprate cleanng soluton.
Before cleanng the hob, ensure the applance has cooled down.
Remove the plug from the socket or (f connected drectly) swtch off
the electrcty supply.
It smportant the Burners are replaced correctly.
For smaller contaners the gas burner should be regulated so that the
flame does not overlap the base of the pan. Vessels wth a concave or
convex base should not be used.
If over the years the gas taps become stff to turn ts necessary to
lubrcate them.
WARNING: If a flame s accdentally extngushed, turn the knob
to the off poston and do not attempt to re-gnte f for at least 1
mnute.
Such operaton must be carred out only by qualfed Servce
Engneers.
