This appliance is for household use only and may be plugged in to any AC
electrical outlet.
Only open and close your hairsetter by using the handles. To open, place
thumb and forefinger on each of the handles and pull apart. To close, pull
up slightly on handles and snap handles and covers together to secure
(Fig. 1).
Rollers feature a cushioned surface for setting, tinted, bleached, permed
or straightened hair, human wigs and hairpieces (not synthetics as heat
may cause damage).
Extra-large rollers – For extra large curls, waves and body.
Large rollers – For big curls and waves.
Medium rollers – For short hair and creating tight curls.
WARNINGS: Do not allow clips to heat inside of hairsetter. While in use:
Do not place unit on glass or mirrored surface. Only open and close
hairsetter using handles as unit and cover will become hot.
PRE-HEAT:
• Place the hairsetter on a flat surface and plug in.
• Remove all clips from the clip case and set aside.
• Turn the switch to On (I), switch will illuminate.
• Close cover while rollers are pre-heating.
• Ready dots will darken when rollers are ready for use. For optimum
styling temperature, allow rollers to heat for 10-12 minutes before
using.
Before setting, hair should be clean, dry or slightly damp (never wet) and
free of hairspray creams and gels.
TO SET:
• Grip cool rim on roller.
• Remove one roller at a time being careful not to touch the heating post.
• Section hair a little less than the length of the roller.
• Wind hair around the roller.
• Secure by placing clip crosswise over the roller.
• Leave rollers in the hair for about 5 minutes or more.
• Remove the clips and rollers.
• Allow curls to cool completely before brushing.
SPECIAL ATTENTION:
Imprinted on the heating plate, encircling each heating post is an outline
of the roller size. Rollers must be put back onto the heating posts
according to the outlines.
If the hairstyle requires more than the 24 rollers provided, be sure to
place the rollers back on the heating posts after removing from hair so
rollers will always be hot and ready to use.
When setting is complete always unplug the unit and allow it to cool
before storing.

PRECAUCION: No permita que los ganchos se calienten adentro del
estuche de los rulos. Mientras la unidad esté en funcionamiento: No la
coloque sobre un espejo ni sobre ninguna superficie de vidrio. Abra y
cierre la unidad utilizando las asas únicamente ya que la unidad y la
cubierta se calientan.

• Coloque el estuche de los rulos sobre una superficie plana y
enchúfelo.

LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion
marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance should be

Your hairsetter needs little maintenance; it contains no user serviceable
parts. Do not try to repair it yourself; refer it to qualified service
personnel if servicing is needed.
TO CLEAN: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely. Wipe the case
and heating posts with a damp cloth. NEVER immerse the case and
heating posts in any liquid. Rollers and clips may also be cleaned with a
damp cloth.
TO CLEAN ROLLERS: Soak rollers for a few minutes in a basin of warm
water with 1/2 teaspoon of shampoo. Rinse thoroughly in clear, warm
water. Shake each roller to remove water from the inside and towel blot.
Allow rollers to dry completely (1-2 hrs.) before using.
TO STORE: Unplug the hairsetter and allow to cool. Store rollers on the
heating posts and put clips in their compartments. Close case cover.
Never wrap cord tightly around appliance. Keep it loosely coiled around
storage posts (Fig. 2). Do not put any stress on cord where it enters
hairsetter, as this could cause the cord to fray and break. Store the
appliance in a safe, dry place where it will not be damaged.
