Two front-panel mounting holes are provided on each mounting ear.
Series amplifiers are cooled by fan.Cool air flows over the heat sink and exhausts
through the front grill.Make sure this outlet remains clear to allow unrestricted airflow.
Two input attenuators adjust level for their respective amplifier channels. In Bridged Mono
modes, the channel A attenuator controls overall signal level (see rear panel mode switch
description).
This Red LED indicates that the amp channel is in Protect mode.During Power up, the amp
briefly goes into protect mode in order to prevent any loud speakers from being fed the
speakers. After a few seconds the amp comes out of protect mode and is ready for normal
operation. If the amp stays in Protect mode, this indicates that there may be a problem internal
to the amp. If the amp goes into Protect mode during operation this indicates that either a
problem has developed internal to the amp or the amp is being over-stressed and needs to
cool down. After a Protect condition, the amp must be reset by cycling the power off and then
on again in order to continue using it.
When the output power exceeds the safe working range of the amplifier, the CLIP LED are lit.

13.Output Mode Selector Switch
EachChannel features balanced XLR and 1/4"jacksockets wired in parallel. The Balanced
signalsare less sensitive to hum noisegeneratedbyAC.
Thestereo power amplifier presents two operatingmodes:
-Stereo Mode
Inthis mode, channelAand channel B operate independently(asa normal stereo amplifier). The
ChannelAinputsignal willbe output from the channelAoutput connector, andchannel B input
signalwill be output from the channelBoutput connector.
-Parallel Mono Mode
Inthis mode, channelAinput signal will be outputfromthe output connectors of both channels.
12.LIMITERSwitch
Ifa very high level signal isdriveninto the amplifier, the output signal will"CLIP",that is the peaks
ofthe waveform will be flattered. The Clip Limitercircuitautomatically reduces the gain to prevent
theoverdrive.Youcan switch the Clip Limiter circuitONand OFF via the (11) switch ontherear
panelof your LAseries. If you use fullrange speakers, the Clip Limiter circuitwillreduce the high
frequencydistortion and it will also protectthehigh frequency drivers. However, some Users
preferto switch the Limiter OFF togetmore punch from Kick Drumsandother sounds in the low
frequenciesarea.

SPEAKONconnectors are specifically designed to connecthighpower speakers. The correct
polarityis secured automatically, theyprevent shock hazard and theylock-insecurely.
Pleasemake sure to respect the speakerpolaritywhen using binding post.
Caution:turnoffthe unitbefore connecting an audio signal tothebinding post to avoid anyelectric
shock!
Pleasemake sure that your local voltagematchesthe voltage indicated on theunit.
SignalGround lift switch is used toliftthe balanced input connectors'ground/shield fromthe
amplifier'sground. When the signal ground lifted, thesound source disconnects from the
amplifier'sground preventing ground loops which cangeneratehum and noise. See thesignal
groundlift switch instructions for more detail.
Thepower amplifier must be connected onlywiththe attached three-wire safety powercordwith
protectiveconductor (nonfused earthed conductor).
Thisamplifier is made for use withtemains voltage labelled on thebackof the amplifier only.
Checkthe label on the back panelofthe amplifier for the appropriatevoltage.Make sure the
voltageof your mains outlet is correct. The power voltageisfactory set as labelled on theback
paneland cannot be change afterwards. Damagecausedby connecting the amplifier to
ImproperACvoltagevoids the warranty.

*DOnot use these amplifiers in damporhigh humidity environments. Do notuseoutdoors or
anywherewhere liquids could fall or splashontothe amplifier.
*Ensurethe amp is adequately ventilated, withfreeairflow to the front andrearpanels. Keep
awayfrom other heat sources. If theampsare mounted in a rackwithother amps, ensure there is

exhaustedthrough the front panel.
*Nevercover the amplifiers, as they mayoverheat.
*PYLEPRO power amplifiers are designed tofitstandard 19U racks, with a2Uheight and 17
