The Micro Innovations IN-SITE MOTION WEBCAM is compatible with IBM and 100% compatible
computers with an available USB port, and is supported by Windows® 98SE,
Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista™.

Installing Your Webcam
Install Software First before attaching the webcam to your PC.
In order for your webcam to function properly, you must install the DRIVER. You can install the
Ulead
software at a later time.
Choosing the DRIVER Only Installation.
This will install the basic software to operate your webcam. This will allow you to use your webcam
will many popular Internet video chat applications. After installing the DRIVER, simply launch your
favorite video chat program to begin use.
During the installation you will be prompted to restart your PC. When instructed to connect your
webcam, insert the USB connector into an available USB port on your PC.
Wait until your PC has finished detecting your webcam. Your PC will make the proper settings to
operate your webcam. Complete the webcam installation.
To Uninstall the DRIVER

To use the microphone

Capturing Still Images and Video Clips
To capture still images and video clips, you must install the UleadPhoto Explorer 7.0 SE program. If you did not install the
application during the initial driver installation, you can install the program by inserting the installation CD into your computer’s
CDROM
drive and select the proper title. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Once the Ulead Photo Explorer 7.0 SE is correctly installed, click Start Programs Ulead Photo Explorer 7.0 SE or
click the icon located on your desktop to launch the application. Here you can capture, edit and organize your still images
and video clips.
Capturing Still Images
To capture still images with your webcam launch Ulead Photo Explorer 7.0 SE and select File Twain Acquire
Acquire now to launch the preview screen.
You can also use the CTRL + N command to launch the Acquire Now function.
Another way to capture still images is to select Video Capture Still Image.
Capturing Video Clips
To capture video with your webcam, launch the Ulead Photo Explorer 7.0 SE program and select Video Capture Video.
Note your Motion Track Webcam will automatically focus and LED indicator will illuminate when in use.

Motion Tracking Tool
To use the Motion Tracking Tool, you must first launch your favorite Internet
chat application, Internet messaging program or UleadPhoto Explorer 7.0 SE.
Once you can preview your image using the on-screen viewer, click the
Motion Tracking Tool icon located in the lower right hand corner of your
screen or click Start | Programs | Motion Track Webcam | Motion Tracking Tool

Settings Menu
Using the Motion Tracking Tool, you can easily control the tracking feature by
selecting either the AUTO TRACK or MANUAL TRACK buttons.
Use the ZOOM slider to manually zoom in (+) or out (-)
The directional arrows will manually rotate your webcam

Helpful Hints
The following hints will help you achieve the best results with your webcam:
Webcam placement
Position the webcam so that the subject is centered.
Place the webcam on a steady surface
Lighting
Use sufficient lighting.
Place the light source behind the camera and facing the subject.
Maintain a consistent lighting environment, i.e. do not mix fluorescent and other light types.
Do not aim the webcam directly at the light source.
Maintenance
Keep the webcam away from moisture and extreme temperature.
Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners or organic solvents on the webcam or on any of its parts.
Never disassemble or touch the inside of the webcam.

“No capture device found” error
“Camera not connected” error
Make sure you have connected the webcam correctly into an available USB or try a different
USB port on your PC.
Try removing the previous driver and reinstalling the software. There may be a conflict with
previous camera/scanner software installed on your PC.
You may need to remove the previous software before using this device.
Webcam image is too dark
(Black or green screen)
Try removing the previous driver and reinstalling the software.
