Swann SBS75 is a Buffet Server, a kitchen appliance designed to keep food warm before serving. It comes with several warming pans as well as a warming tray. The appliance has an adjustable temperature control and indicator lights that signal when the desired temperature is reached. The warming pans, lid, and frame are dishwasher safe. It is recommended to pre-heat the appliance for 10 minutes and to use pre-cooked food as the appliance is not designed for heating from cold or frozen.

When using your Buffet Warmer, basic safety precautions

should always be followed:

• Read all instructions.

• Check that the voltage indicated on the data plate

corresponds with that of the local network before

connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.

• Do not leave the appliance unattended whilst connected

to the mains power supply.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.

• It is imperative to unplug the power cord after the

appliance has been used, before it is cleaned and whilst

being repaired.

• Close supervision is required when using this appliance

near children.

• Never leave the appliance within reach of children.

• Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed

by a qualified electrician. Improper repairs may place the

user at serious risk.

• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged plug or cord,

after a malfunction, or after being dropped or damaged

in any way.

• Do not use the appliance for anything other that its

intended use.

• Do not touch hot surfaces, use handle or knobs when

working with the unit.

• Never place your hand over the steam vents or cover

when the appliance is in operation.

• Ensure the appliance is used on a stable, heat resistant

surface.

• Any meat dishes placed in the buffet server must be

thoroughly cooked first. Do not place raw meat in the

buffet server.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8

years and above if they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way

and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and

user maintenance shall not be made by children unless

they are older than 8 and supervised.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified

person in order to avoid a hazard.

• This appliance is intended to be used in household and

similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops,

offices and other working environments, farm houses,

by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type

environments, bed and breakfast type environments

Only use this appliance on work tops that can withstand

temperatures of 60C for extended periods.

HOW TO USE

Before first use, remove all packaging.

Wash the trays and lids in warm soapy water (all dishwasher safe).

Rinse and dry thoroughly. Re-fit to the base

Note: There will be a faint smell when using the buffet server for the

first time but this is quite normal and will fade with use. This is caused

by preserving oils evaporating.

WARNING: This appliance will get hot during use, please

exercise extreme caution.

• Place the Buffet Server on a stable surface that can withstand

temperatures of up to 60 degrees Centigrade for extended periods.

• Plug the buffet server into the mains power supply and turn the

temperature control to the mid position.

• Place the prepared food into each of the warming pans and adjust

the temperature to the desired heat. The indicator light will cycle On

and Off whilst maintaining the correct temperature.

• It is not recommended to keep this appliance On for more than 6-8

hours at any one time as food bacteria could develop.

• After use, unplug the appliance from the mains power supply and

allow to cool thoroughly

• Never attempt to move the Buffet Server or it’s trays while the

appliance is still hot. To do so poses a significant scalding risk.

How to use the warming plate without warming pans and frame

• Place the warming tray on a stable, heat resistant surface.

• Plug the buffet server into the mains power supply and turn the

temperature control to the mid position.

• The indicator light will illuminated red and will turn Off when the

desired temperature is reached.

HOW TO USE

TIPS

• Pre-heat the appliance for 10 minutes.

• Food warmed on the tray must be pre-cooked and already hot as

this appliance is not designed for heating from cold or frozen.

• When you have finished using the appliance, unplug from the mains

power supply and allow to cool for approximately 90 minutes before

storing.

• You can put plates on the Buffet Server without the trays or frame

attached, in order to keep them warm

• Where possible, use oven loves when handling the hot trays

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

• Caution: Always ensure the appliance is unplugged from the

mains power supply and has thoroughly cooled before cleaning

or storing.

• Remove each warming pan, the lid and the frame and wash in

warm, soapy water Rinse well and dry thoroughly. These can be

put in the dishwasher

• Wash the warming tray base with soft cloth (or kitchen roll) mois-

tened with a mild detergent solution.

• Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or allow water to spill or

seep into the frame. Never immerse the warming, tray cord or

plug in water or any other liquid.

• Re-assemble the buffet server and store in a cool, dry place.

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond

with the colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked

with the letter N or coloured black. The wire which is coloured BROWN must be

connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red. The

wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which

is marked with the letter E or (earth symbol) and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/

YELLOW.

This product is guaranteed for One year from the date of original purchase. If any

defect arises due to faulty materials of workmanship the faulty products must be

returned to the place of purchase. Refunds or replacement is at the discretion of the
