Installing a fan tray 安装风扇模块
The FAN-20F-2-A blows air from the power module side to the port side and the fan tray handle is blue. The
FAN-20B-2-A draws air from the port side to the power module side and the fan tray handle is red.
Before installing a fan tray, make sure the fan tray has an airflow direction that draws in cool air from the
cold aisle and exhausts hot air to the hot aisle.
You must install fan trays of the same model on a device.
FAN-20F-2-A为吹风风扇,风向为电源侧进风,端口侧出风,风扇把手为蓝色;FAN-20B-2-A为抽风风扇,

The device comes with the two fan tray slots empty. Before powering on the device, make sure the device
has two fan trays of the same model installed.
If one or both fan trays fail during the device operation, replace the fan trays immediately and keep the fan
trays in position before the replacement.

The device has a primary grounding point (above the power module slots) and an auxiliary grounding point.
The primary grounding point has a grounding sign and grounding screw while the auxiliary grounding point does
not. The grounding screw for the primary grounding point is also applicable to the auxiliary grounding point.
To use the auxiliary grounding point, connect the grounding cable to it before mounting the device in a rack.
主接地点(电源模块上方接地点)标有接地标识,并带有接地螺钉,备用接地点无接地标识和接地螺钉。

The device provides multiple chassis rail installation positions on its sides. Determine the chassis rail
installation position based on the rack depth and make sure the front ends of slide rails reach out the
chassis rails for the device stability.
The following figure uses installing the mounting brackets near the hard disk side as an example.

Installing a hard disk 安装硬盘
Hard disks are not hot swappable.
No hard disk is provided with the device. Prepare them yourself as required. For the system to identify the
disks, use disks from H3C.
To avoid ESD damage, always wear an ESD wrist strap when working with a hard disk.
Hold a hard disk by its two sides and do not touch its components or squeeze, shake, or hit the hard disk.
Install a filler module in an unused hard disk slot to prevent dust from entering the chassis.
For a hard disk to operate correctly, execute the fdisk and format commands to partition and format the
file system before using the hard disk.
Before removing a partitioned hard disk, you must use the umount command to unmount all file systems
on the hard disk.
硬盘不支持热插拔。
设备不随机提供硬盘,请您根据需求自行选购。
请采用H3C公司的硬盘,否则系统无法识别。
安装和拆卸硬盘时,请佩戴防静电腕带以避免硬盘受到静电放电的损害。
手接触硬盘时拿硬盘的两侧,不要触碰元器件或挤压、振动、撞击硬盘。
若不再安装硬盘时,请安装假面板,以避免灰尘或异物进入设备内部造成静电吸附或损坏。
为确保硬盘的正常使用,使用硬盘前,需在命令行视图下执行fdiskformat命令,对硬盘进行分区及格式
化操作。
在拔出硬盘前,需在命令行视图下执行umount命令,卸载所有的分区才能安全拔出硬盘,否则,可能会引
起硬盘存储介质的损坏。
