2. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put cord,

plugs or grinder in water or other liquid.

3. Close supervision is necessary when any grinder is used

by or near children.

4. Turn the grinder OFF, then unplug from the outlet when

not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and

before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from

the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.

5. Avoid contacting moving parts.

6. This grinder has important markings on the plug blade.

The entire cordset is not suitable for replacement. If da-

maged, the grinder must be replaced.

7. Do not operate any grinder with a damaged cord or plug,

or if the grinder malfunctions or has been damaged in any

manner.

8. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the

manufacturer may cause ﬁre, electric shock or injury.

Warning: This grinder is equipped with a tamper-resistant

screw to prevent removal of the outer cover. To reduce the

risk of ﬁre or electric shock, do not attempt to remove the

outer cover. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Repair

should be done only by authorized service personnel.

b) Extension cords are available and may be used if care is

exercised in their use.

c) If an extension cord is used:

1) The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should

be at least as great as the electrical rating of the grinder;

2) If the grinder is of the grounded type, the extension cord

should be a grounding-type cord; and.

3) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over

the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled on

by children or tripped over.

resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a

POLARIZED PLUG

This grinder has a polarized plug (one blade

is wider than the other). To reduce the risk

of electric shock, this plug is intended to ﬁt into a polarized

outlet only one way. If the plug does not ﬁt fully into the

outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not ﬁt, contact a qu-

aliﬁed electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any

way.

Place the grinder on a ﬂat, stable surface. This grinder is not

suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

1-Choose suitable coﬀee beans according to diﬀerent coﬀee

types. We recommend medium or dark roasted beans for making

espresso, and medium roasted beans for making americano.

2-Bad beans will not only aﬀect your grinding results but also

ruin your ﬁnal coﬀee. There are many types of beans on the

market. To ensure best grinding results, high quality beans are

recommended.

3-Buy in small batches to reduce the storage time due to use

freshly roasted coﬀee beans with a 'roasted on' date to maximize

ﬂavor, not a use-by or best before date.

4-Store coﬀee beans in a dark, cool and dry place. Vacuum seal

if possible. Do not store beans in the bean hopper. Place them

back in an airtight container. If you buy large portions of beans,

separate them into one or two week portions and store them in

airtight containers. Preserve freshness by minimizing exposure

to air, light, and moisture.

5-This grinder can be used only for grinding dry, fragile foods.

Items that are too hard, too long, moist, or sticky, such as ginger,

chocolate, sesame, oily spices, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg,

are not suitable for this grinder. Trying to grind these items will

possibly damage the grinder.

5. The Tips For Perfect Powder4. Before First Use

Element 1: Beans or Spices

As our coﬀee grinder is equipped with a UL plug and can wo-

rk normally only when connected to a voltage of 100-120V,

to prevent burning out, do not connect the coﬀee grinder

with any improper power supply(If the coﬀee grinder is not

connected to a voltage of 100-120V, you have to make sure

an adapter is being used, otherwise it will not function no-

rmally or even could be burnt out).

NOTE

6-Grinding peppercorns, herbs, or spices can produce strong

aromas and ﬂavors, which will aﬀect the ﬂavor of your subseq-

uently ground coﬀee. If you plan to grind those items rich in

ﬂavor, you may need to purchase another grinder.

1-Optimal grind size depends on many factors including bre-

wing method, roast darkness, bean type and freshness, and

more. Experiment with diﬀerent grinding time to achieve the

brew that best suits your taste.

2-You may need to vary the grind size when using diﬀerent coﬀee

beans and depending on bean freshness. Adjust amount of coﬀee

beans and grinding time to suit your own personal taste. You can

refer to the following table:

1-The grinder will not operate if the transparent lid is not properly

locked.

2-Do not remove lid until blades come to a complete stop.

3-The maximum capacity of coﬀee beans that can be loaded into

the grinder shall not exceed 60 grams.

4-It is recommended not to pour too many beans into the bean

hopper at once. Overﬁlling can cause the grinder to overheat and

malfunction.

There are 3 coﬀee grind types

3-Shorter grinding time results in coarser grinds. Longer grinding

times result in ﬁner grinds, but can overheat the powder and

valuable coﬀee ﬂavors can be lost.

1-If the grind is too ﬁne, overextraction and bitterness will

result. Too ﬁne a grind may also clog the ﬁlter and cause

water to overﬂow.

2-If grind is too coarse, the water will pass through too qui-

ckly and the maximum ﬂavor will not be extracted.

A single time of continuous grinding shall not exceed 40 sec-

onds, because the longer the grinder works, the easier it will

heat up, which will indirectly cause the ground item to relea-

se aroma in advance due to the heat. Grinding coﬀee beans

past the instructed time limit will not only aﬀect the taste of

the coﬀee but also possibly damage the grinding motor due

to overheating.

NOTE

6.2 Grinding Nuts or Spices

1-The operation steps are the same as the above "6.1 Grinding

Coﬀee Beans".

3-Ensure the grinder is always clean or use a second grinder

if you grind both spices and coﬀee regularly.

2-For the selection and notes of grinding items, refer to "Element

1: Beans or Spices", page 12.

8.1 Before Use

To protect its motor and increase its lifespan, the grinder will

automatically shut oﬀ due to overheating after continuous

operation for over 40 seconds each time.

This cooling-oﬀ period protects your ground coﬀee from be-

coming overheated before it’s brewed. Wait 3 minutes until

the grinder has cooled suﬃciently before reuse.

1-This grinder can be used only for grinding dry, fragile foods.

8.2 In Use

1-This grinder has only one ON/OFF button, keep pressing the

button for grinding.

2-During grinding, you need to waggle the grinder to make the

grinds more evenly spread.

3-During grinding, you can see through the transparent lid to

monitor the grinding process.

4-Adjust grinding time according to your brewing method. We

recommend grinding approx. 25 seconds for espresso, approx.

20 seconds for mocha coﬀee, approx. 15 seconds for drip/pour-

over coﬀee, and approx. 10 seconds for French press.

5-The maximum capacity of coﬀee beans that can be loaded

into the grinder shall not exceed 60 grams.

To make sure your grinder operates eﬃciently, you must clean

the grinder after each use. For a detailed cleaning guide, refer

to page 15, steps 8-14 in section “6. Operation Guide”.

This Gevi product is covered by a 12-month

replacement or repair warranty after the

order is issued under normal use, and we

will provide customer service to answer

technical questions even after 12 months.

In order to make a claim under our warranty, you must have the

original proof of purchasing documentation for the product,

including but not limited to Order Number and QR Code, and

present it when requested. This guarantee is valid for the original

retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not

transferable.

Upon receipt of your claim, Gevi will seek to resolve your diﬃ-

culties. Should your product develop any defect within 12 mo-

nths of purchase because of faulty materials or workmanship,

we will repair or replace this product or any component of the

product, at our discretion. Replacement will be made with a

refurbished product or component. Refurbished parts may be

used to repair the product.

Our replacement or repair warranty only applies where a defect

arises as a result of faulty material or workmanship during the

warranty period. Your warranty does not cover misuse or negli-

gent handling (including damage caused by failing to use the
