First housing in single hutches
Give colostrum
For a good start, colostrum feeding
is irreplaceable! Feed colostrum
to the calf as soon as possible in a
good quality and sufcient quan-
tity.
Manual Feeding
When feeding with a bucket or
bottle, the feed must be taken
outside the box (head outside the
barrier)
Calf box
Make sure that the calf box is clean
and freshly strewn.
Avoid too frequent manual feedings as well as too frequent obser-
vations of the individual feedings in order to exclude false conditioning.
Registering the calves at the CalfRail Register calves at the CalfRail directly after housing - even if you
only train the calves the next morning. There is a chance that the calves
train themselves.

Regularly check the feeding quantities of the individual calves at least 2 times a day in the
barn and at the automatic feeder or in the CalfCloud. One missed feeding is not necessa-
rily a cause for concern.
Animal Control
The table is sorted in ascending order according to
the 1st column of the 1st parameter, so calves with
low values are at the top of the list.
