1. The surface condition determines the performance of the tape.
Before the application of the tape, the surface is exposed to various contamination such as dust,
moisture and oil. In order to maximize the adhesive performance of the tape, the surface condition
is very important. Therefore, there is a need to keep the surface clean.
☞ A cleaning agent that can be easily purchased by general consumers is ethyl alcohol.
Remove surface contaminants as much as possible with a dry cloth or cloth, and wipe the
surface several times with ethyl alcohol.
There is no slipping on the surface, and when it dries sufficiently, you may attach a tape.
※ Examples of changes in adhesion according to surface conditions
The test the change of adhesion in the external environment (fine dust concentration 70,
ultra-fine dust concentration 42).
1. Adhesive performance degradation test method
① After exposing the surface, attach the tape.
② After exposing the tape, attach it to a clean surface.
☞ When the test is carried out in ②, it is more effective as a test method for lowering adhesion performance.
▲ The graph above shows the adhesion performance according to the degree of exposure to fine dust.
