Orbit 51028 is a blowout adapter kit that helps you to clear out water from your irrigation system using compressed air. This helps to prevent your pipes from freezing and cracking during the winter months. The kit includes an adapter that connects to your garden hose and a compressor. It also comes with Teflon tape to help ensure a proper seal.

To use the Orbit 51028, first shut off the water to your irrigation system and relieve the pressure in the mainline by opening a control valve. Then, remove the sprinkler from the riser or fitting and attach the adapter. Connect the air compressor to the adapter and run air through your system for 2 minutes. Turn off the air compressor and allow the air to completely purge from the system. Reattach the sprinkler to the riser or fitting and close the control valve. Repeat this process for all zones in your irrigation system.
