The timer only operates when appliance is connected to the electricity supply.
NOTE: The clock/programmer only controls the bottom oven.
Setting the clock and selecting the Manual Mode
To set the clock, first press the Manual operation selection button 4.
The dot in the middle of the display will start blinking and the symbol will light up
indicating Manual cooking mode is available.
Then press buttons 5 and 6 to set the time.
There is a 5-second acceptance delay during which no button should be pressed.
Note: when you set the clock, all previously set cooking programs will be cancelled.
Setting the Minute Minder with acoustic signal
Press the Minute Minder button 1. Set the required time by pressing the 5 or 6 buttons.
The symbol will appear in the display. The timer will revert to clock mode after 5
seconds.
When the set time has elapsed, an acoustic alarm will sound.
To silence the alarm, press buttons 1 or 4.
The Minute Minder does not control any of the oven functions.
AUTO lights up and stays

Programming the Cooking Time
Set the oven to the required temperature and press the Cooking duration selection
button 2. Set the required cooking duration time using the 5 or 6 buttons. The
symbol will remain illuminated and AUTO will appear on the display. The timer will
revert to clock mode after 5 seconds. At the end of the selected duration time, the oven
will switch OFF and an and the acoustic alarm will sound, the AUTO indicator will blink
and the symbol will turn off.
To silence the acoustic alarm, press the Manual operation selection button 4.
As the oven is now set for manual operation, ensure the oven controls are in the OFF ( )
position.
Programming Duration and End of Cooking Time
Set the oven to the desired temperature and press Cooking duration selection button 2.
Set the required cooking duration time with the 5 or 6 buttons; the AUTO indicator will
light up.
Now press the End of cooking time selection button 3 and set the required end of cooking
time with the 5 or 6 buttons. The oven will switch ON at the selected time and switch
OFF at the end of cooking time. During cooking, the symbol remains alight. When
the cooking ends, the acoustic alarm will sound, the AUTO indicator will blink and the
symbol will turn off.
To silence the alarm, proceed as described above. Make sure the oven controls are in the OFF
( ) position.
Programming End of Cooking Time
To set the time at which you want the cooking to end, set the desired temperature, press the
End of Cooking Time Selection button 3 and then the 5 or 6 buttons. The AUTO indicator
will light up. The timer will revert to clock mode after 5 seconds. When the time of the day
reaches the end of cooking time, the oven will switch OFF and the acoustic alarm will sound.
To silence the alarm, proceed as described above.
Make sure the oven the oven controls are in the OFF ( ) position.
Notes:
If a setting error is made, the acoustic alarm will sound and the AUTO indicator will blink.Cancel the setting by pressing
the Manual operation selection button 4, then reprogramme.
The acoustic alarm that sounds at the end of a program will continue for about seven minutes if it is not muted by pressing
the Manual operation selection button 4. At the end of the 7 minutes, the AUTO symbol will continue to blink until it is
cancelled.
The acoustic alarm has three different audio levels, low, medium and high. To adjust the audio level, ensure the timer is in
Manual mode, then press and hold button 5 to hear the selected level. Releasing the 5 button, then pressing again and
holding will select another audio level. Repeat the above procedure until the required audio level is heard.
Times programmed with Minute Minder, Duration and End of Cooking Time, and End of Cooking Time functions can be
displayed by pressing the corresponding buttons (1, 2 or 3).

OVEN FUNCTIONS
SWITCHING ON THE OVEN
Please operate as follows:
Turn the selector knob “5” clockwise to the symbol of the required function.
The oven light switches on.
When the required temperature has been reached, the light will switch off.
At the end of cooking turn the selector knob “5” anti-clockwise to OFF ( ) position.

To switch on the oven light.
STATIC
To cook meat, fish and poultry in the oven.
Preheat the oven to the required cooking temperature and place the food
inside as soon as the red thermostat light turns off.
It is advisable to use the second or third level.
Turn the selector knob “5” clockwise and set the desired cooking
temperature between 50°C and 230°C.
The thermostat light “4” switches on.
The oven light switches on.
When the required temperature has been reached, the thermostat light will
switch off.
At the end of cooking.
Turn the selector knob “5” anticlockwise to OFF () position.
BOTTOM
HEATING
ELEMENT
To finish cooking fruit or cheese cakes or to thicken sauce.
Use this function for the last 10/15 minutes of cooking time.
TOP HEAT ONLY
For browning food.
Use the upper heating element for the last 10 or 15 minutes of cooking time.
DOUBLE GRILL
To cook meat (smoked bacon, steaks, sausages, etc.) and for making toast.
Preheat the oven for 5 min. with the door closed.
For best results, leave the oven door open when grilling.
Arrange food on the wire shelf. When cooking meat, to avoid spatters of fat
and smoke, pour a little water into the drip tray.
Turn the food during grilling.
Once the function has been selected, turn the power knob “3” clockwise to
the required power level (1-11). The thermostat indicator light switches on;
when the required cooking power is reached it will turn off.
