Tighten all screws, bolts, nuts, and cable connections after the final assembly of the AutoFarm Steering System

1. Install Roof Module
1.1 Safety Notes
The AutoFarm system must be powered OFF when installing or removing the roof module.
The supplied locking pin or a padlock must be in place whenever the vehicle is in operation.
The roof module must be removed when transporting the vehicle at speeds above 30 mph.
Make sure that you are in a stable position on the tractor platform when removing the roof module, so that
you do not fall or drop the roof module.
1.2 Install the Mounting Rail
Remove the cab roof bolts.

Align the mounting rail to mounting holes and fasten the mounting rail to the roof. The lettered holes should
be on the left side of the tractor.
1.3 Mount the Roof Module
Slide the roof module into locked position.

Make sure that the spring lock is in place.
Insert and close the locking pin through the holes in the roof module and the mounting rail. Note that a pad-
lock can replace the locking pin.

Attach the radio modem antenna. Note: The antenna should be attached “hand tight” - do not use any tools
to tighten the antenna.

2. Install the User Terminal
2.1 Assemble and Mount the User Terminal Bracket
Remove the covers from the holes in the cab post.

Install the threaded inserts.
1. Assemble the bracket, washers, threaded insert, bolt and nut as shown below. Note: The bolt used for
this step is longer than the bolt used for final mounting.
2. Place the threaded insert into the hole in the cab post.
3. Using one wrench, hold the bolt head in place while tightening the nut with a second wrench (causing
the threaded insert to expand inside the cab post hole).
4. Remove the bolt and repeat steps 1-3 with the second threaded insert.

Mount the bracket assembly using the shorter mounting bolts.

2.2 Mount and Adjust the User Terminal
Attach the adjustable arm to the user terminal.
Remove the travel stop on the bracket assembly.

Install user terminal arm onto the cab bracket.
Replace the travel stop.

Tighten the arm onto the bracket.

Remove adjustment bolt caps and adjust arm tightness.
Replace adjustment bolt caps and adjust user terminal viewing angle.

3. Install the Main Cable Harness
3.1 Attach the Main Cable Harness to the User Terminal.
3.2 Attach the Cable to the Power Supply

3.3 Attach the Main Cable Harness to the vehicle CAN input/output.
Remove the cover to the right of the seat and attach the AutoSteer CAN In and CAN Out connectors.
3.4 Attach the Main Cable Harness to the Roof Module
Route the cable out of the cab under the left side of rear window.

Route the cable up the back of the cab, and attach the cable to the roof module.

4. Final Checklist
Check all cable connections.
Check manual steering.
Power up the AutoSteer system and begin the calibration and tuning process.
