The features of MP3 Player
Support MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA and video in WMV and
ASF formats

Using the player for the first time
Download and Upload
Once connected the player to the computer, there are
three displays showed by MP3 screen as below:
Safely remove from the computer after data transferring,
player enters into main menu display screen.
Note: Please do not disconnect the MP3 Player from the
PC while its reading or writing, or else it will cause your
data lost.

If a malfunction occurs under abnormal
conditions
If the player is subjected to strong extraneous electrical
noise or shock during use, or all the functions will not
work properly or the display incorrectly, in such cases,
please follow the procedures as shown below:
1. Press RESET switch.
2. Keep pressing key to turn on the player again.
Display and Operation descriptions
- In off status, keep pressing key to Power on the player.
- Press M key once to access each menu, or press M key over
1.2sec to back to main menus when in other modes.

- Simple Actions
1. Put earphone plug into earphone outlet.
2. Select music:
Select previous music.
: Select next music.
3. Volume adjust (Default volume level: 15):
[+]: Up the volume.
[-]: Down the volume.
4. Repeat selection:
In music playing mode, press M key once to go to submenu
mode, then select different repeat mode: Normal, Repeat
One, Folder, Repeat Folder, Repeat All, Random and Intro.
5. Play & Pause
On music pausing mode, press key to play music.
When playing music, press key to pause.
6. Set the Equalizer in submenu mode and the operations
please refer to OTHER SETTINGS.
Equalizer list: Natural Rock Pop Classic Soft
Jazz DBB
7. Set the SRS WOW in submenu mode, press / key to
select the item, then press / key to adjust the desired
sound effect, and press M or key to confirm, there have
following items for your reference:
SRS WOW ->User setting (SRS 3D/TruBass/Focus)->Disable

8. Synchronous Lyric Display
Please make sure that the lyric has the same name to the
Music.
EX. Music file: The Rose. mp3, Lyric file: The Rose.lrc
How to know if lyric available?
1. If lyric matched, keep pressing M key for 1.2seconds to
enter lyrics display.
2. In lyric display mod e, press key once to back to
previous display and the music will stop playing or press
M key once to back to previous display. If there are no
lyrics to display, press key once will go to pause mode
or keep pressing M key will back to main menu mode.
3. When displaying lyrics, keep pressing M key will back to
main menu mode.
Movie mode
1. Support AMV format, other formats can be converted into
AMV format by using software provided.
2. In pausing mode or movie playing mode, can press /
to select next/previous movie.
3. Submenu settings please refer to OTHER SETTINGS.
Record mode
- Please make sure that the battery as enough capacity
before recording.
Press to play the movie

- Voice will be recorded in current fold which set through
Record Pausing’.
- If displayed “Overflow, it means no space to save new
record files, please delete other files to release memory
space.
- Voice can be recorded and saved in WAV or ACT format.
- Voice recording display
1. The initial record mode is ‘Pause’mode after entry.
2. In pausing mode, can press M key once to submenu
mode to select record type.
3. Press key to start recording.
4. Keep pressing M key to store the record file.
5. In recording mode, press key to pause record; in
pausing mode, press key to continue to record.
- Select record type
1. When in the interface of ‘Record Pausing’mode.
2. Press M key once to entry record submenu.
3. Press or key to select ‘REC type’then press M key
to entry.
4. Press key to confirm and back to ‘Record Pausing’
mode.

Play mode (Play recorded files)
- Choose voice record files
: Select previous recorded file.
: Select next recorded file.
Note: The submenu operations are same as the music mode.
FM radio mode
- 20 channels can be saved each in “Normal Band” or “Japan
Band”.
- FM record function
1. When listening to the FM Radio, can press M key once to
entry FM submenu.
2. Press or key to select ‘Record’item and press M
key to entry FM record.
3. Press key to start recording, the record operations are
same as record mode.
- Auto tuning
Press or key over 1.2 seconds to start the channel
search in 100 KHz interval upwards or downwards. To stop
tuning, push or key once.
- Manual tuning
Press key once: Downward 100 KHz.
Press key once: Upward 100 KHz.

- Save the current channel and choose a saved channel
Press M key to entry FM submenu, and select ‘Save’item
then press M key to confirm.
Press key once to choose a saved channel when
listening to the FM radio.
- FM radio display descriptions:
The current band and it will move with the changed band.
- Submenu descriptions:
Save: Save the FM channel.
Record: Record the FM.
Delete: Delete the current FM channel which you saved.
Delete all: Delete all saved FM channel.
Normal Band: The FM frequency is 87-108MHz.
Japan Band: The FM frequency is 76-90MHz.
Exit: Exit from the submenu mode.
Picture mode
- Support JPEG format.
- When displaying picture list mode, press M key once to
entry submenu, where have the following items: Local
folder Play set Delete file Delete All Exit.
1. Press or key to select setting item, EX. Select
Play set’.
2. Press M key once to entry.
3. Press or key to select ‘auto play’item and press

M key once to entry, where can set the picture slide show
time from 1sec to 10sec; if select ‘manual play, press
or key to select next or previous picture to show
when viewing the picture.
4. Press M key once to confirm the setting and back to
previous display.
- The other submenu operations please refer to OTHER
SETTINGS.
Note: If there has no files to display, it will prompt ‘Empty
Disk’after entry.
E-book mode (Text mode)
- Support TXT format.
- In E-book display list mode, press or key once to
select the document, or press M key once to entry
submenu mode, and press M key to confirm the operation
and back to previous display.
1. Local folder: select the root folder
Press M key to entry, and press or key to select the
folder, then press M key to confirm and back to previous
display or press key to back to previous without any
operations.
2. Play setting: Press or key to select the Manual
play (turn page by pressing or key once) or Auto
play (turn page automatically with specified second.)
3. Delete file: Delete the current file.
4. Delete all: Delete all documents.
- In reading E-book mode, press key to back to the

E-book list mode. In reading mode, press M key to go to
the other submenu mode, and press M key to confirm
and back to previous display.
1. Bookmark select: Select the bookmark we want to read.
2. Bookmark Delete: Delete the bookmark.
3. Bookmark Add: Add the current page to bookmark so that
we can have a quick search to read what we want to read.
4. Exit: Exit from the setting mode.
Note: If there has no files to view, it will prompt ‘No files’
after entry.
Setting mode
- Press or key to select the item, and press M key
to confirm the setting and back to previous display.
- Setting list and the operation descriptions:

For your Record format selection:
Voice Record ->WAV Music ->MP3 Music
Note: Select different record format can have
different record type setting in record submenu
mode.
LCD set
1. Brightness: Lighten or darken the
brightness (Level from 0 to 9).
2.
DarkMode: If no operation, LCD display will
be off according to the setting time. Then
can press any key to turn on LCD display.
3. Exit: Exit from the LCD set mode.

Language
1. 5 languages for your choice, Simple
Chinese/English/Traditional
Chinese/Japanese/Korean. (Option)
2. Press or key to select desired
language, and press M key once to confirm.
Power off
1. Setting off time or sleep time.
2. Off time: set time in seconds, allow the
player shut down automatically when there
is no operation in idle or stop mode, the
function is invalid if the time set to 0.
3. Sleep time: set time in minutes, allow the
player shut down automatically when there
is no operation in any modes; it is designed
for listening music before sleep. And please
be noted that sleep mode is available only
once after setting, have to set again if you
want to use it next time.
Replay mode
1. Manual replay or Auto replay for your
choice.
2. Manual replay: Set repeat point manually.
3. Auto replay: the player can identify
sentence automatically when on A-B repeat
.
(This function is designed for repeat
sentence in language studies.)
On line Device Media Device and USB disk for your selection.
On line mode
Multi Drive / Normal only / Encrypted only
choice.
Memory info. Check memory space and usage status.

Note: ‘Delete all’will delete all files in current folder of
current mode. EX. Choose ‘Delete all’in Music mode will
delete all music files; recorder files will not be affected. On
FM mode, all saved channel will be removed.
Please safely removed player and unplug USB cable after
delete files on PC, otherwise some files will not be
removed.
Play mode (Play submenu)
Choose different play mode (EX. repeat, shuffle) when
playing music or recorded files.

Equalizer

3. Then press M key to entry ‘Equalizer mode’.
4. Press or key to select and press key or M key
to confirm and back to playing mode.
Tempo rate
Choose different play speed and not affect to sound. (Only
valid to MP3 files)
1. While playing music.
2. Press M key once to entry play submenu.
3. Press or key to scrolling to Tempo rate’option.
4. Press M key to entry.

5. Press for faster, for slower (level from -8 to 8) and
press key or M key to confirm and back to playing mode.
Note: Play speed will apply to all music file until the setting
modified.
Replay mode
A-B Repeat
1. When play music or recorded file.
2. Press M key once to entry play submenu.
3. Press or key to scrolling into Replay Mode’option.
4. Press M key to entry.
Replay Mode: ‘Aof Symbol flashes.
5. Press to select A; then ‘B’of symbol flashes,
waiting ender B
6. Press to select B, symbol fixed and starting
repeats between A-B, while playing, you can push to
reset A point, and re-set the replay point.
Karaoke Mode (No such Function in playing mode)
1. A-B repeating 2. Push entry Karaoke
mode.

Replay gap
Replay interval determines the time period between
previous repeat (in seconds).

Other Functions
About Secret Space
Some MP3 user may worry about divulging secret. They do
not want others to find private information contained,
therefore these data have to be removed before lend their
own MP3 to others. It makes some trouble.
However, this problem has totally solved by Secret Space’
technique!
You can use provided software to divide the whole USB disk
into two parts, and encrypt one of them. You can move your
privacy into the encrypted part; they will be protected by
password.
To active ‘Secret Space’:
1. Connect your player to PC.
2. Run
MP3 Player Disk Tool
which can be found in provided
CDROM.
3. Click Allocation and Encrypt’ card, Allocate appropriate
space and set username and password, and then click
