1 Choose a Location
• Mark a place on thedoororwindowfor
youralarm.
• Markaplaceonthedoorframeor
windowframeforthemagnet,aligning

2 Mount the Alarm

markthemountingscrewlocation.
2. Drilltwo1/16inch(2mm)holes.
3. Insertthetopscrew,leavingabout1/8
inch(3mm)toattachthealarm.
4. Installthealarmoverthetopscrew.
5. Removethescrewonthebottomof
youralarmandslideoffthebattery
compartmentcover.
6. Insertthelowerscrewthroughthehole
insidethebatterycompartment.

InserttwoAAAbatteries(notsupplied)
intothecompartmentasindicatedbythe
polaritysymbols(+and–)markedinside.
Notes:
• Replacethebatteriesifthe
alarm sound weakens or
the LED flashes red.
• Disposeofoldbatteries
promptly and properly. Do
not burn or bury batteries.
• Donotmixoldandnew
batteries, different types
of batteries (standard,
alkaline, or rechargeable),
or rechargeable batteries
of different capacities.
• Ifyoudonotplanto
use the alarm for a month or longer,
remove the batteries. Batteries can leak

5 Use the Alarm
Instant Activation
1. SlidetheINSTANT/DELAYswitchto
INSTANT.
2. InsertthekeyandrotatetoON.
3. Onceactivated,thealarmwillsound
anytimeifitismovedawayfromthe
magnet.Afterabout90seconds,the
alarmturnsoffandtheLEDashes
green.TurnthekeytoOFFtosilence
thealarmimmediately.
