Tools needed for installaon
Quick installaon guide
STEP 1 STEP 2
Speaker wire
Pencil
Drill
Tape Measure
Ask yourself where is the best place to install the loudspeakers
in order to obtain the most uniform diusion in the area to be
sounded.
Separate the speakers at least 2-3 meters apart.
If you intend to re-paint the grilles it is best to do this prior to
installaon using an appropriate paint which will not block the
cracks.
We recommend to test the connecons and the sengs before
the actual installaon, as it is not very praccal to have to press
the mode buon or change the MONO/STEREO switch once the
speakers are inserted in their nal posion into a ceiling or a
wall.
Once the tests have been completed, it is possible to proceed
with the denive installaon, which is best not too far from
the place of the tests to ensure that WIFI and BT maintain the
connecons.
Using the included template, trace with the marker the shape
onto the panel to be carved. Using a drywall saw cut the hole
in the panel. Aenon: this is the most important part of the
whole installaon, because you must be sure that there are
no obstrucons behind the desired mounng area (you can
check with small holes and a pencil if the necessary space is
present). Use a piece of sandpaper to smooth the edges to get
a smoother outline. (See Diagram 1 and Diagram 2). Pass the
cables necessary for the installaon, leaving about half a meter
more to facilitate the connecon to the loudspeaker.

To determine the length and gauge of speaker wire, you will
need:
Measure the distance.
Always consider a few meters more.
Sound quality deteriorates when too thin a cable is used
over a long distance.

7. How to Use
STEP 3 STEP 4
The ceiling speakers come from the factory with the tweeter
facing straight out from the bae. This will result in the overall
smoothest response. However, you can adjust the tweeter to
focus the sound at your listening locaon. In order to do this,
remove the grill and gently press on tweeter plasc border (see
Diagram 3). Cauon: do not touch the tweeter dome while
adjusng it (see Diagram 3).
Retract the dog-ear brackets by turning slowly clockwise the
four screws accessible from the speakers front bae, using a
Phillips head screwdriver.
Connect all the wires and insert the speaker into the hole in
the panel. Then, keeping the speaker in posion, turn the four
levers on the front of the speaker one by one in the direcon
of the arrow. The quick-turn mounng system and frame will
"sandwich" or clamp around the panel to hold the speaker
securely in place (see Diagram 4).
Reposion the grille.
