Dear Parents,
Congratulations for buying a product from the series “My First Play World – Farm”. You have made the right decision to offer your
child many possibilities to grow through playing.
These instructions offer you many hints and suggestions about how to explore the play figures with your child and to bring them
to life. The instructions also include many different play exercises and first little games with rules. In this way, your child’s skills and
abilities are fostered: language and vocabulary, concentration and memory, motor skills, first counting, creativity and imagination.
Above all, however, playing these games is simply fun! So learning happens while they play, almost without effort.
The special feature of “My First Play World – Farm” is that all play sets can be combined and complement each other perfectly.
It does not matter which one you start with: the Play World remains adaptable and expandable … thus always maintaining your
child’s interest.
Lots of fun playing and exploring!
Your inventors of inquisitive playthings
My Cow Goes “Moo”
Free play fun with the wooden figures
In free play your child will explore the different play figures and bring them to life.
0LAY¬WITH¬YOUR¬CHILD¬AND¬TALK¬ABOUT¬LIFE¬ON¬FARM¬AND¬THE¬DIFFERENT¬ANIMALS¬
Think together about which animals live there and imitate their voices,
thereby stimulating your child’s language and listening skills, as well as enhancing his imagination.
Depending on their age children will develop their own little role-play games and start to tell more and more stories when playing
with the figures. Additional game materials like building blocks or found items such as; sticks, stones or string can be integrated
into the game. In this way and with a few simple actions little stables, fences or mangers are set up and can be, for example, filled
with wooden carrots or little fabric flowers. There are no limits to what you can imagine!
It is important that the play environment can stay set up in the children’s room for a couple of days. In this way your child has the
possibility to add something every day or go on playing in the same way over and over again. Repetition is important in early
learning and experimenting.

action with the wooden figures and the play tiles. If there are two or more children playing, they alternately take turns.
The listen-carefully assignmentss consist of two parts: there is the story and then the action instructions, printed in blue. When
playing for the first time or with younger children it is recommended you read both out loud. Older children can play the story
without reading the action instructions out loud.
When your child already knows the story you can vary the action by swapping the animals or places – in this way the game stays
interesting for even longer. Of course you can also invent your own tasks and continue the story however you want.

A child, or the adult, is named game conductor. All players now memorize the arrangement and then close their eyes.
The game conductor takes a figure or a tile from the table or changes the arrangement by swapping, for example,
the places of two animals. Now all the players can look again. What has been changed?
#OOPERATIVE¬6ARIATION
All the children together try to discover what has been changed. If they know, they score one point.
Note the points on a piece of paper. If the children guessed wrongly or can’t see what has been changed the game
conductor receives a point. Whoever is the first to score 5 points wins the game.
#OMPETITION¬6ARIATION
The child who knows first what has been changed receives a point, which is noted down on a sheet of paper.
This player now becomes the game conductor for the next round and may take something out or swap two items.
The game ends as soon as a child has scored 5 points.
