SAFETY WARNINGS
-These instructions are very important. Please read this instructions
manual carefully before using the appliance and keep it at hand to refer
to it at any time.
-JOCCA declines any responsibility for the improper use of theproduct,
or any other use that is not described in this manual.
-Before using the product for the first time, unpack the productand
check that it is in perfect conditions. If not, do not use the appliance and
contact JOCCA, as the guarantee covers any damage from origin or
manufacturing defects.
-This product is only indicated for domestic use. Do not use the appliance
outdoors. Never leave the appliance exposed to climatic agents such as
rain, snow, sun, etc.
-This appliance can be used by children of 8 and more years old as well
as by disable people, people with reduced sensorial o mental capacities,
people with lack of experience and knowledge, if the appropriate
supervision and instruction of use was provided them in reliable way and
they understand danger it entails. The cleaning and maintenance allow
to be realized by the user, must no be realized by the children, only - in
case they are more than 8 years old and only under supervision.-Keep
the appliance and its cable out of reach of the children younger 8 years
old.
-Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the
device.
-Before connecting the appliance to the mains, check that the cable and
plug are in perfect conditions. Also check that the voltage indicated on
the appliance is valid for your electrical installation and the plug has
earth wire.
-If you detect that the power supply cable or the plug are damaged, do
not use the appliance or try to replace the cable yourself. Go directly
to the authorised JOCCA technical service where they will replace it
correctly for you.
-Do not immerse the appliance or any part of it in water or anyother
liquid.
-Do not pull the cable to unplug the appliance from the mains,always
pull from the plug.
-If your appliance has been dropped or fallen into water or anyother
liquid do not use it or try to repair it. Take it to the JOCCA technical
service.
-Unplug the appliance from the mains when you have finished using
it, before cleaning it or if it does not work correctly.-Do not use the
appliance in outdoors.
-The appliance must not be installed on a wall or ceiling. It must always
be installed on a flat and dry surface in a well ventilatedarea.
-Never use the appliance near a source of heat such as a fire, kitchen
stove, heating radiator, etc.
-Make sure that the air outlets on the rear of the appliance are not
blocked. Do not cover the air intake or outlet when the appliance is
switched on. Do not use the appliance for drying clothes.
-In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the input or output of air
during operation of the device.
-The appliance must be switched off and unplugged before adding water

-Do not move the appliance when the water tank is full.
-Do not use the appliance with wet hands or with barefoot.
-Never touch the moving parts of the appliance. Never insert your fingers
or other parts of the body in the air inlet or outlet.Never insert any object
that might block up or damage the appliance.
-Do not let the power supply cable touch or come near the hot parts of
the appliance.
-Completely unroll the power cable to avoid overheating.
-Keep the appliance away from any wall (at least, 30 cm).
-Do not shake a device after filling it with water or ice – water can come
out.
-We dissuade the use of adapters, plugs and / or extension cables. If
the above mentioned elements were indispensable, use only simple or
multiple adapters and extension cables that respect the in force procedure
of safety, taking care in not exceeding the limit of power indicated in the
adapter and / or and the extension cable.
-Make sure that the on/off switch is in 0/OFF position before unplugging
it from the mains.
-The appliance must not be used if the grids are not correctly installed.
-The aplliance shouldn’t be in touch with curtains, identical papers,
cloths of kitchen, or other inflammable materials during the use.
-Do not use the heater near a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
-To start using the device you must place the switch On/Off in position I.
The button on the control panel is used only as “Stand by” of the device,
not for disconnection.
WARNING ABOUT THE BATTERIES:
-Remove the battery from its compartment, if you are not going to use
the device for a long period of time.
-Remember that batteries must be deposited in the specialized containers
for battery collection.
-If you want to throw out the device, always remove the batteries before
doing it.
-If the battery has some kind of leak never handle it with bare hands.
-Replace the battery when it is worn out.
-Only the batteries of the same model or equivalent to the recommended
can be used.
-The battery must be placed in accordance with the indicated correct
polarity.
-Never place the battery compartment near fire or heat source.
-Do not throw the batteries into fire or place the control unit to the sun.
-Do not mix new batteries or the old and worn-out.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Preparation and conditioning of the appliance
-Make sure that the on/off switch is in O position before plugging it from
the mains.
-To fill the water deposit, lift the cap on the top of the device and fill
with water through any of the departments, till the water level indicator
overcomes (“MIN”) (fig.2).
IMPORTANT: never overcome maximum water level, (“MAX”).Capacity:9L.
-To empty the water deposit, open the cap on the bottom of thedevice
(between the two back wheels). See cleaning section.
WARNING: the deposit could have up to 3 litres of water, even if the
level indicator shows minimum (“MIN”).
To start the device
-Connect the device to power supply.
-Now the device is ready to work, to activate the device press the button
I on the control panel and the device will start operating.
-Select the output speed of air you want, the button (5).
- You can select three positions:«I»
- low air flow. «I»
- medium air flow.«II»
- maximum air flow. «III»
-Press the button to select the desired position.
-Button (1). It is used to set the operation time of the device.When the
time is out the device will be automatically disconnected.
-To program it, simply press the button . Each time you press this button
increases the set time a half hour to a total of seven hours. The lights
indicate the scheduled time.
-Wind blow mode (4): To select the Wind blow mode of the device you
have to press the key. With this function the air varies in intensity and
direction gradually. If you want the tabs stay in a certain position, when
they are in the desired position, press the button Wind blow again and
the position will be fixed.
-Cold mode: button (3). To get cooler and humid air place ice in the
largest compartment located at the top of the device (e) or into the
lateral water containers (f) and press. With the light on it also purifies
the air, if the light is off, only cool dry air is coming out.
Make sure that the water level is not under the MIN.
-Heat Mode: place the temperature selector to the heat position and
press the button (2). The hot air will come out.
-Function Mode (6): to select the type of wind blow you have to press the

button. There are three types of wind blowing: sleep mode, natural and
normal. Select the desired one.
NOTE: MODE option it is only to be used with COLD function, it is not
compatible with WARM function.
-Remote control: controls the same functions of the device on the
distance of 5 meters.
-Unplug the device when you finished using it.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
-Before cleaning the fridge, make sure the device is not plugged in the
current and the water/ice tank is empty.
-To empty the water tank in case of excess of the water or to clean the
device, open the drain plug in the lower back part, to remove it turn
the plug counter clockwise until it is separated from the device, pull the
rubber stopper and drain the water.
-Once all the water is out, place the rubber stopper and drain plug
again.
-Please clean the water tank from time to time.
-The filter should be cleaned with a damp cloth approximately every 15
days.Steps to clean-up the filter:NOTE: the filter is placed behind the
back lid (h) of the air-conditioning.
1.- Remove the grill with a screwdriver from the air-conditioner’s back
part.
2.- Clean the filter with a wet cloth carefully.
3.- If the filter is too dirty, wash it with a neutral detergent concentrate
mixed with water.
4.- Place again the clean filter into the air-conditioner’s back part with
a screwdriver.
-Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply if it is not going to be
used for some time.
