this
control should

about 5O96 of rotation
for maximum
signal

AND
OPERATION
The MR/140
is a
"line
levef"
device
and
can be hooked-up
in two basie
ways.
In-Line Operation
Placing the
unit after any mixer
will
add the reverb
effect to
the
in-line
signal
patch.
When using the l"1R/14A
"in-line",
utilize
the balance
control to blend
the
wet and dry signals.

plugs

MR/140 to
power
amplifier or recorder input.
Set t.he output level- of the MR/140 to
5096 of its rotation.
As the output level control is turned
in a clockwise ro-
tation,
the siqnal coming out of the
MR/140 will become
stronqer,
up to
+1BdB. This

is
handy for
com-
pensating
for differences in
equipment.
Set
input
drive
control, balance control
and
equalizers half-

Monitor or listen

so that the drive set
light flashes. If

reverb sound
quality
and noise characteristics are automatically
set for
maximum
performance.

balance
control-

the way up to the left will allow only
non-reverberated
siqnals

through
the MR/140. When
the
bal-ance control is in
this
position,
the
reverb
circuit

It is
not necessary to switch
out or disconnect
the
I4R/14O
when reverb is not required
because
of the
extraordinary low noi.se, distortion
and
high slew
rate
of
this product.
As the balance control is turned from far
left
(Dry
10), toward 0,
reverberation
will be added to the
signal
passing
through the'unit.
Turning the
balance
control fully to the
right
(
to reverb
10),
will allow
only the reverberated signal at the
output of the unit.
While
the
balance control is
in this
position,
turn the
equilizers
one at a time
to
their
maxi-mum
positions.
The
four
equalizer control-s only
effeet
the
reverber-
ated
portion
of
the
signal, so that full control of
the sound
of the reverberated effeet
can
be achieved.
