The appliance is suitable for picking up dry,
non- ammable dust and liquids.
The appliance is suitable for commercial use,
such as e.g. in

Any other use is considered as improper use.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any
damage resulting from such use. The risk for
such use is borne solely by the user.
Proper use also includes proper operation,
servicing and repairs as speci ed by the
manufacturer. See operating instructions.
Transport
Before transporting the dirt tank, close all 1.
the locks.
Do not tilt the cleaner if there is liquid in 2.

Do not use a crane hook to lift the cleaner.3.
Storage
Store the appliance in a dry place, pro-1.

Electrical connection
It is recommended that the vacuum 1.

current circuit breaker.

and couplings) and lay down the exten-
sion lead so that the protection class is
maintained.

Extension lead
As an extension lead, only use the version 1.
speci ed by the manufacturer or one of a

Battery Charger
Only use the battery which is delivered with
the charger. Other types of batteries could
cause an explosion. Do not attempt to charge
alkaline batteries or other types of primary
batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in re as
the battery may explode, leak or catch re.
Keep the charger in a dry place (indoor use
only). In order to avoid the risk of re or elec-
trical shock, the charger must be protected
against high humidity and water.

Warranty
Our general conditions of business are ap-
plicable with regard to the guarantee.
Unauthorised modi cations to the appliance,
the use of incorrect brushes in addition to us-
ing the appliance in a way other than for the
intended purpose exempt the manufacturer
from any liability for the resulting damage.
Tests and approvals
Electrical tests must be per formed in accord-
ance with the provisions of safety regulations
(BGV A3) and to DIN VDE 0701 Part 1 and
Part 3. In ac cord ance with DIN VDE 0702
these tests must be performed at regular
intervals and after repairs or modi cations.

ence guide, which is designed to help you
when starting up, operating and storing the
appliance.
This quick reference guide does not replace
the separate operating instructions, which de-
scribes the appliance in detail. The operating
instructions also contain further information
on the operation, maintenance and repair of
the appliance.
Meaning of the symbols
The instructions for actions are subdivided
into 7 sections, which are represented by
symbols.

An asterisk (*) indicates a model variant or
special accessories.
Check whether your appliance is equipped
with the control elements or special acces-
sories depicted. If not, please proceed to the
next action.
WARRANTY
Nil sk-ALTO warrants that its equipment will be free of defects in workmanship or material for a period of two years
from the date of delivery. If the vacuum fails to meet these warranty standards, Nil sk-ALTO shall, upon noti cation
within such time period, correct such non-conformity, as its option, either by repairing any defective part or parts,
or by replacing a part or parts provided that the equipment is returned to an authorized Nil sk-ALTO service facility.
In all cases freight both ways will be at expense of the customer. Equipment shall not be returned without advance
notice to, and consent of Nil sk-ALTO.
EXCEPT AS SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH HERIN, NILFISK-ALTO MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EITHER EX-
PRESSED OR IMPLIED, AS TO ANY MATTER WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY AND
ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS OF PURPOSE,OR OTHER WARRANTIES, ALL OF
WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED. NEITHER PARTY SHALL BE LIABLE TO THE
OTHER FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIM-
ITED TO LOSS OF PRODUCTION, LOSS OF PROFITS OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR INDIRECT LOSSES WHICH
MIGHT OCCUR AS A RESULT OF DEFECTS, PARTIAL OR TOTAL FAILURE OF THE PRODUCT TO PERFORM
AS SPECIFIED.
Correction of non-conformities or defects in the manner and for the period of time provided above, shall constitute
ful llment of all Liabilities of Nil sk-ALTO to the customer, whether based on contract, negligence or otherwise with
respect to, or arising out of such equipment. The remedies set forth herein are exclusive, and the liability of Nil sk-
ALTO with respect to this sale or anything done in connection therewith, whether in contract, in tort, under any
warranty, or otherwise, shall not, except as expressly provided herein, exceed the price of the equipment or part on
which such liability is based.
This warranty does not cover repairs due to normal wear and tear, accident, neglect, misuse or abuse, incorrect
installation or use other than described in the instruction booklet. Breaks in hoses and cables are not covered. This
warranty is rendered void if the motor number plate is removed or defaced or if repairs are made or attempted by
persons not authorized by Nil sk-ALTO.
Some states do not allow exclusion of implied warranties or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the
above exclusions or limitation of implied warranties may not apply. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damages so the above exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages
may not apply. Limited warranties set forth above give speci c legal rights. Customer may have other rights which
vary from state to state.
