GLASS BREAK DETECTOR
INSTRUCTION
FEATURE:
Double detecting method
SMD technology
Pulse width adjustable
Sensitivity adjustable
convenient mounting
MOUTING THE DETECTOR
1. SELECT LOCATION
Choose a location in front of the protected
glass area.
Make sure that the detector’s field of view is
not blocked by any object.
Avoid installation in the following locations:
Areas with substantial air current.
Areas with high audio noise or
vibrations.
Detector’s detection range may be
decreased in a place with acoustically
absorbing material.
2. MOUNTING
Determine mounting position and cable
routing.
Open the front cover by pressing the clip
located on the mid-right side with a
screwdriver, and pull it upward.
Run the cable along the cable-duct located
on the backside of the rear cover and insert
it through its prepared hole.
Mount the rear cover to the wall/corner as
determined previously.
Connect the wires to the terminal block
(according to the terminal block diagram.)
Close the detector case.
the terminal block located on the PCB.(like following
fig.)
1. replace the front cover until the closing click is
heard.
Terminal output
Terminal 3&4 marked ”TAMPER”
If a tamper function is required, connect these
terminals to the control unit. When the front cover
of the detector is opened, an immediate alarm
signal will be sent to the
control unit.
Terminal 5&6 marked ”RELAY”
These are the output terminal contacts of the
detector.
Terminal 1 -
Connect to the negative polarity
Terminal 2 +
Connect to the positive polarity
Jumper adjustment
JP1—SHOCK/ GLASS adjustment
SHOCK—the setting is for low frequency
adjustment with the help of potentiometer;
GLASS—the setting is for high frequency
adjustment with the help of potentiometer;
OFF —this setting is for work.
JP2—LED indication alarm
Circuit shot— latch enable
Circuit not shot—latch disable
JP3—sense adjustment
Circuit shot —sense fall 50%
Circuit no shot—sense not fall

GLASS BREAK ADJUSTMENT
Place the jumper on JP1 above the
GLASS mark. Green(SHOCK) LED is
constantly ON, now you can adjust the
sensitivity by turning the GLASS
potentiometer.
Simulate glass break sound and turn
the GLASS potentiometer clockwise to
increase sensitivity and counter
clockwise to decrease sensitivity until
the yellow and red LEDS are lighting for
each glass break sound.
When the jumper is set for GLASS
adjustment, only the high frequency
sound of glass breaking is detected.
SHOCK ADJUSTMENT
Place the jumper on JP1 above the
SHOCK mark. yellow(GLASS) LED is
constantly ON, now you can adjust the
sensitivity by turning the SHOCK
potentiometer.
Hit gently on the protected glass and
turn the SHOCK potentiometer
clockwise to increase sensitivity and
counterclockwise to decrease sensitivity
until the green and red LEDS are
lighting for each glass break sound.
When the jumper is set for SHOCK
adjustment, only the low frequency
of the shock signal prior to glass
breaking is detected.
