Instrument Panel Cluster
Your vehicle’s instrument panel is
equipped with this cluster or one very
similar to it.
The instrument panel cluster includes
these key features:

IMPORTANT: The instrument panel
cluster is designed to let you know
about many important aspects of
your vehicle’s operation. It is impor-
tant to read your Owner Manual and
become familiar with the information
being relayed to you by the lights,
gauges and indicators, and what
action can be taken to ensure safety
and to prevent damage.

Malfunction Indicator Lamp
(Service Engine Soon Lamp)
This instrument panel lamp illuminates
under a variety of conditions when the
On-Board Diagnostics II (OBD II) system
detects a malfunction in the vehicle’s
emission controls.
If the Malfunction Indicator Lamp is lit
steadily, check the gas cap to ensure
it is present and secure
•Turn the cap clockwise until a “ratch-
eting” sound is heard, signaling that it
is secure.
If this is the cause of the condition, a
few driving trips with the cap installed
properly should turn the light off.

Driver Information Center
The Driver Information Center (DIC) fea-
tures a message center that can display
trip information, fuel economy informa-
tion, personalization features and other
messages or warnings.The DIC display
is located above the steering wheel on
the instrument cluster, and can be pro-
grammed in three languages. To access
the various DIC modes, press one of
the four DIC buttons located on the
steering wheel: Trip Information, Fuel
Information, Personalization or Select.
Trip Information Button: Press
to access each of the odometer,
TRIP A, TRIP B and TIMER functions.
To reset either trip odometer to zero,
access it on the DIC and press the
Select button ( ) for one second, or
press and hold the reset stem on the
instrument cluster.
Use the TIMER function to time the
length of your trip, pressing the Select
button to start or stop the timer when the
function is displayed on the DIC. To
reset it to zero, press and hold the
Select button when the function is dis-
played on the DIC.
Fuel Information Button: Press
to access the range, average fuel
economy, instant fuel economy and the
GM Oil Life System
TM
status.
RANGE estimates the remaining dis-
tance you can drive without refueling.
It is based on recent fuel economy and
remaining fuel.
AVG ECON calculates how many miles
per gallon you are getting based on cur-
rent and past driving conditions. Press
and hold the reset button while it is dis-
played and the DIC will begin calculating
average fuel economy from that point in
time.

INST ECON calculates miles per gallon
at a particular moment, based on speed,
driving conditions and vehicle load.
ENGINE OIL LIFE calculates an estimat-
ed percentage of the engine oil’s
remaining useful life and alerts the driver
when it’s time to change the oil by illumi-
nating the CHANGE ENG OIL light on
the instrument cluster. Please remember
to always reset the oil life system after
an oil change by pressing and holding
the Select button for four seconds while
ENGINE OIL LIFE is displayed. When
successful, the DIC displays ENGINE
OIL LIFE: 100%.

Vehicle Personalization
Depending on the equipment ordered on
your vehicle, you could personalize a
wide variety of preferences on the DIC.
Only the features included on your vehi-
cle will be displayed by the DIC.
Personalization features can include:
Alarm Warning Type
Automatic Locking and Unlocking
Seat Position Recall
Perimeter Lighting
Remote Lock and Unlock Feedback
Headlamps On at Exit
Mirror Curb View Assist
Easy Exit Driver Seat (see Seats
section of this booklet)
Display Units (English/Metric)
Display Language
Personalization Button: Up to two
people can program individualized
settings. Press once and current-
driver preferences will be displayed. Any
changes made at this time affect only
the displayed driver. Press the button
again to scroll through and personalize
menu features.
Select Button: When scrolling through
the personalization features, press
to scroll through the choices provided for
each menu item. When you find the
choice you want, press the
Personalization button to select it and
move on to the next feature. To reset all
personalization features to their default
settings, hold the Trip Information button
and the Personalization button down for
four seconds. Driver preferences are
recalled by pressing any button on the
Remote Keyless Entry System transmit-
ter or by pressing memory button #1 or
#2 located on the driver’s door.

Heated Front Seats
(if equipped)
Heated Seats (if equipped): The but-
tons to control this feature are located
on the front door armrests. Controls can
be set to heat the seatback only or the
seatback and the seat cushion. The
three lights next to the controls indicate
LO, MED or HI setting. Push the BACK
ONLY switch (“B” above) to activate
heat for the seatback only. An indicator
light illuminates when the seatback is
being heated. Push the horizontal switch
(“A” above) to heat the whole seat.

Interior Lamps
Your vehicle is equipped with illuminated
entry and exit lighting as well as reading
lamps and dome lamps.
Activate illuminated entry feature
Open a door or press the UNLOCK
button on your Remote Keyless Entry
System transmitter.
With all doors closed, the dome
lamps stay illuminated briefly and turn
off automatically.
Disable entry and exit lighting
Push the DOME OVERRIDE button
located below the exterior lamps
switch. This will disable the illuminat-
ed entry feature unless the Remote
Keyless Entry System transmitter is
used to unlock the vehicle. The Dome
Override feature is useful when the
vehicle doors need to be open for a
long period of time.
Turn the reading lamps on or off
Press the lens on the lamp above the
door.

vehicle and the temperature for the
second row.
Cool the vehicle interior more quickly
on very hot days
Choose the coolest temperature
setting.
Activate the RECIRCULATE ( )
and A/C ( ) buttons.
Place the A/C mode knob in the
VENT ( ) mode.
Open the windows just long enough
to let the hot air escape.
Turn on the rear window defogger
Press the rear window defogger
() button.
An indicator light on the button will
come on to let you know the rear
window defogger is active.
Dual Automatic Climate Control

Manually select desired airflow

Press and release the MODE button
until the desired source is indicated
on the display. Mode selections
include VENT, BI-LEVEL, FLOOR

Manually raise or lower fan speed
Press the upper or lower portion of
the FAN control ( ) button.
Manually adjust the dual temperature
controls
Use the knob on the left-hand side of
the climate control panel to adjust the
temperature on the driver side of the
vehicle. Use the right-hand knob to
adjust the temperature on the pas-
senger side of the vehicle as well as
the second row.
•To match and link the passenger-side
temperature to the driver’s setting,
press and hold the AUTO button for
three seconds.
Recirculate interior air and prevent
outside air from entering your vehicle
Press the RECIRCULATE ( )
button.
This feature can be activated while in
the VENT or BI-LEVEL mode, but not in
DEFOG, DEFROST or FLOOR mode.
Clear the windshield and front side
windows of fog or frost more quickly
Press the FRONT DEFROST ( )
button.
Clear the rear glass of fog or frost
more quickly, and activate the heated
outside rearview mirrors (if equipped)
Press the REAR DEFOG ( )
button.
Adjust and memorize the preferred
automatic settings for two drivers
Press the button with the unlock sym-
bol on the remote keyless entry trans-
mitter, or press one of the memory
buttons on the driver’s door.
Push the AUTO button and adjust
the temperature knob to the desired
temperature to set automatic air
delivery mode, fan speed, A/C and
recirculation functions for the driver.
Press AUTO again within five
seconds and settings for the front
passenger are displayed and can be
adjusted.
The new settings are automatically
memorized for the driver as identified
by the Remote Keyless Entry trans-
mitter or by memory button.

Rear Seat Climate Controls
Turn the rear controls on and off
Press the Power ( ) button. Note:
The rear controls do not function
when the front climate control is on
and not in DEFROST mode.)
Increase or decrease fan speed
Press the Fan ( ) up or down
arrows to increase or decrease fan
speed.
Note: There are two key fobs identified
as fob 1 and 2 that correspond to the
memory buttons 1 and 2 on the driver’s
door.

Change the direction of airflow
Use the mode knob arrows ( )
on SLE or SLT models to select
upper, bi-level or floor.
Set the temperature of air through the
rear outlets
•Temperature of air from the rear
outlets is determined by the front
passenger temperature setting.
Content Theft-Deterrent System
The Content Theft-Deterrent System has
a red indicator lamp on the instrument
panel that is labeled SECURITY. The
system can be activated in two ways:
Press the LOCK button on the
Remote Keyless Entry key fob after
closing all doors.
Press the power door LOCK switch
with the door open.
The alarm is not armed until the
SECURITY light turns off (after a delay
of approximately 30 seconds).
If the alarm is tripped, the horn sounds
for 30 seconds, and the headlamps and
parking lamps also flash for two minutes
to get visual attention. The alarm sounds
whenever a locked door is opened with-
out the key or Remote Keyless Entry
System transmitter.

Headlamp Controls
The exterior lamps knob is located on
the instrument panel, to the left of the
steering wheel.
Turn off the Daytime Running Lamps
(DRL) and automatic headlamps
Move the knob to the OFF ( )
position.
Activate the automatic headlamp

Move the knob to the AUTO ( )
position.
All exterior lamps and the instrument
panel/radio lights will illuminate when
they are needed.
Manually illuminate the parking
lamps, side-marker lamps, taillamps,

Daytime Running Lamps (DRL)
Turn off DRL while idling the vehicle
Set the parking brake with the ignition
off.
DRLs will stay off until the parking
brake is released, or the shift lever is
moved from the Park (P) position.

Electric Adjustable Pedals
You can adjust the brake and accelera-
tor pedals to a comfortable position
using the toggle switch located on the
steering column near the tilt steering col-
umn lever.
Press the switch toward you to move
the pedals closer to you.
Press the switch away from you to
move the pedals away from you.
See Section 2 of your Owner Manual.
Note: The pedals cannot be positioned
farther away from the driver than they
are in their standard position. This fea-
ture can be programmed to work with
the memory function on your vehicle.
Fog Lamps
The Fog Lamps
button is located
on the instrument
panel to the right
of the exterior
lamps switch.
Activate the fog

Press the button once to activate the
Outside Mirrors with Curb View
Assist (if equipped)
Save curb view assist position
memory settings
Press the Personalization button,
located on your steering wheel, until
“MIRROR CURB VIEW ASSIST”
appears on the DIC display.
Press the Select button once to
choose the passenger’s side mirror,
twice for the driver’s side mirror and
three times for both mirrors.
Press the Personalization button
repeatedly until the display is blank.
•While the vehicle is in REVERSE (R)
and the brake pedal is pressed, use
your driver’s door-mounted electric
controls to adjust the mirrors down-
ward allowing you to see curbs when
backing up .
fog lamps. An indicator lamp will
illuminate.
Press the button again to turn the
fog lamps off. The indicator lamp will
turn off.

•When the vehicle is shifted out of
REVERSE (R), the mirrors return to
their original positions, and the
REVERSE (R) positions are saved for
the current driver, driver 1 or 2.
See Sections 2 and 3 of your Owner Manual.
Entertainment Systems
Set the time
Your radio may have a button marked
“H” or “HR” to represent hours and an
“M” or “MIN” to represent minutes.
Press and hold the hour button until
the correct hour appears on the
display.
Press and hold the minute button
until the correct minute appears on
the display.
The time may be set with the ignition on
or off.
Set the time to an FM station’s Radio
Data System (RDS) setting
Press and hold both hour and minute
buttons at the same time for two sec-
onds until UPDATED and the clock
symbol appear on the display.
If the time is not available from the
station, NO UPDATE appears in the
display.
Program radio station presets
•Turn the radio on.
Press AM-FM to select the band
(AM, FM1/FM2/XM1/XM2).
Use the seek or tune knob to tune in
the desired station.
Press AUTO EQ or AUTO TONE (as
applicable to your radio) to select the
equalization that best suits the type of
station selected.
Press and hold one of the six num-
bered buttons until a beep sounds;
release the button.
Repeat these steps for each station pre-
set, using a different numbered button
for each station.
Activate the Radio Data System
(RDS) traffic announcement feature
(if equipped)
Press TRAF. <TRAF> will appear on
the display if the tuned station broad-
casts traffic announcements.
If the tuned station does not broadcast
traffic announcements, the radio will
seek a station that does. If no station is
found, NO TRAF appears on the display.
Display a station’s INFO message
when INFO appears on the display
Press INFO to see the message.
Once the complete message has
been displayed, INFO disappears
from the display.
Tune to an RDS broadcast of a
selected program type
•Turn the P-TYPE knob to select the
Program Type you want to listen to.
Press the SEEK or SEEK TYPE but-
ton (as applies to your radio).

Access one of the two available XM
Satellite Radio bands (if equipped)
Press the BAND button until XM1 or
XM2 appears on the display.
Load one CD into the Six-Disc CD
player (if equipped)
With the ignition on, press and
release the LOAD side of the LOAD
CD button.
•Wait for the green indicator light at
the right side of the slot to turn green.
Insert the disc partway into the slot,
label side up; the player will pull the
disc in.
Load multiple CDs
With the ignition on, press and hold
the LOAD button for two seconds.
The unit beeps and the light to the
right of the slot begins to flash.
•When the light stops flashing and
turns green, insert a disc partway,
label side up.
The indicator light will begin blinking
and turn steadily green. Load another
disc at this time.
•When loading more than one but less
than six CDs, press the LOAD button
again to signal that loading is com-
plete.
•When more than one disc is loaded,
a number for each disc is displayed.
•To play a specific CD, press the CD
AUX button, and then the number of
the CD you want to hear.
•Asmall bar appears under the CD
number that is playing, and the track
number appears.

Rainsense
TM
Wipers
(if equipped)
Rainsense Wipers automatically control
the frequency of the wipers from OFF to
HIGH speed according to the amount of
moisture on the windshield.
Activate the Rainsense feature
Set the wipers to one of five moisture
sensitivity settings on the multifunc-
tion lever.
The closer the setting is to the OFF
position, the less sensitive it will be to
moisture.
See Section 3 of your Owner Manual.
Note: Turn this feature off before
entering an automatic car wash.

HomeLink
®
Universal
Transmitter
This programmable transmitter can store
three frequencies for items such as a
garage door opener, entry door lock or
security system. With the ignition OFF,
program the transmitter as follows:
Press and hold the two outside but-
tons and release when the indicator
light begins to flash (about 20 sec-
onds; do not repeat this step when
programming second and third trans-
mitter buttons).
Hold the end of your hand-held trans-
mitter up to three inches away from
the surface of the universal transmit-
ter and simultaneously hold down
the transmitter button and the button
on the HomeLink
®
unit you wish to
program.
The HomeLink
®
indicator light will
begin blinking slowly. Programming is
complete when the red light on the
HomeLink
®
transmitter flashes rapidly.
Release both buttons.
Press and hold the newly pro-
grammed HomeLink
®
button. If the
light stays on constantly, program-
ming is complete and should operate
your device when pressed and
released.
For garage door openers with a “rolling
code,” continue with the following steps:
Firmly press the training button (usu-
ally marked “LEARN” or “SMART”) on
the garage door opener motor head
unit near the antenna.
Within 30 seconds, press and hold
the HomeLink
®
transmitter button pro-
grammed in the previous steps for
two seconds.
Press and release this button twice
more for two seconds each time.

Note: To ensure successful HomeLink
®
Transmitter programming, it’s important
that your garage door opener battery be
well charged.
Sun Visors
•To help block the sun’s glare, rotate
the sun visor down.
•You can block the driver or passenger
front-side window glare by turning the
sun visor to the side window.
The sun visor can be extended by
sliding it along the attachment bar to
provide improved shielding on the
side windows.

Air Inflator System (if equipped)
Locate the air
inflator unit
The inflator unit
and an on/off
switch are locat-
ed behind an
access cover in
the rear compart-
ment on the driv-
er side of the
vehicle near the
tailgate.
•A22-foot hose and three nozzle
adapters are located in the glove box.
Use the air inflator
Open the access cover.
Attach the appropriate nozzle adapter
to the end of the hose (if required).
Attach that end of the hose to the
object you are inflating. Attach the
other end of the hose to the inflator
outlet.
Press and release the on/off switch to
turn the air inflator on.
An indicator light verifies that the
inflator is running.
•When inflation is complete, press and
release the on/off switch again.
Remove the hose from the outlet
(load leveling will not operate when
the hose is attached to the outlet).

Four-Wheel Drive (if equipped)
Envoy XUV’s four-wheel drive system
rotary controls are located on the instru-
ment panel.
Shift into 4HI or A4WD
•Turn the knob to 4HI or A4WD. This
can be done at any speed except
when shifting from 4LO.
Shift into 2HI
•Turn the knob to 2HI. This can be
done at any speed except when shift-
ing from 4LO.
Shift into or out of 4LO
With the ignition in RUN and the vehi-
cle stopped or moving less than 3
mph (4.8 km/h), shift the transmission
into neutral.
•Turn the knob to the 4LO or the 2HI,
4HI or A4WD, preferably with the
vehicle moving 1 to 2 mph (1.6 to 3.2
km/h).
•Wait for the indicator lamp to stop
flashing and remain illuminated; then
shift your transmission into gear.

Shift into NEUTRAL (N)
Place the transfer case in neutral only
when towing your vehicle. See Section 4
your Owner Manual for towing informa-
tion.

Traction Assist System
(if equipped)
The Traction Assist System (TAS) limits
wheelspin and operates only if it senses
that one or both rear wheels are begin-
ning to lose traction. When this hap-
pens, engine power is reduced to limit
wheelspin. You may hear or feel the sys-
tem working. The system is automatical-
ly enabled whenever the engine is
started.
Turn the system OFF or ON
Press the TAS ON/OFF button locat-
ed near the shift lever.
With the system off, the TRAC
ON/OFF button indicator light comes
on until TAS is turned back on or the
vehicle is turned off and restarted.
See Section 4 of your Owner Manual.
Midgate with Power Glass
TM
Your Envoy XUV is equipped with a
Midgate and power Midgate glass.
Lower the Midgate
Fold and tumble the rear seats. You
may have to move the front seats for-
ward slightly. Make sure the head
restraints are fully down.
Pull the front of the seat release lever
(marked “1”) up and fold the seatback
forward and fold flat.
Pull up on the rear of the lever
(marked “2”) and tumble the seat
forward.
Press and hold the overhead console
button ( 1) to lower the Midgate
glass. Make sure to lower the glass
completely before lowering the
Midgate.
Clip the second-row seat belts into
the retainers mounted on the pillar
just below where the seat belt passes
through the trim panel to help keep
the seat belts from getting tangled
when raising or lowering the Midgate.
Press the Midgate release button on
the driver’s side of the Midgate and
pull the release handle to lower the
Midgate. Apply light downward pres-
sure to the Midgate until it locks into
the lowered position.

Raise the Midgate
Pull the latch lever located on the
floor of driver’s side of the
vehicle; then raise the Midgate and
lock into full upright position.
Make certain to fully close the
Midgate. The Midgate must be fully
upright and in the latched position to
raise the Midgate glass.
If the Midgate is not fully closed and
latched, a “MIDGATE AJAR” mes-
sage will be displayed on the instru-
ment cluster. Open the Midgate and
close it again, making sure it is
securely in the up and latched
position.
Dual Function Tailgate
Your vehicle’s tailgate can swing open to
the right or be lowered to a flat position.
Raise or lower the tailgate/tailgate
glass
The tailgate glass is power operated and
must be fully lowered before lowering
the tailgate. The tailgate glass can be in
any position to swing the tailgate open.
The control is located in the overhead
console.
Press and hold the overhead console
button ( 2)to lower or raise the
tailgate glass.
Press and hold the back of the
overhead console button to raise
the glass.
You can also raise or lower the tailgate
glass with the key and tailgate key
cylinder.
Insert the key into the cylinder on the
tailgate and turn and hold the key in
the clockwise position to lower the
tailgate glass.
•Turn and hold the key in the counter-
clockwise position to raise the tailgate
glass.
The roof must be in the fully closed
position to raise the glass.
•You can also lower the tailgate glass
by pressing the button twice on the
remote keyless entry transmitter.
If the roof is not fully closed, a
CLOSE THE ROOF message will
appear on the Driver Message
Center display when you try to raise
the tailgate glass.
•You can also
lower the tail-
gate glass
using the
Cargo Area
Window but-
ton. The large
yellow button
located in the cargo area next to the
window serves as an emergency
release for the cargo area. Press and
release the button to fully lower the
tailgate glass. The vehicle must be in
PARK (P).
Caution: Leaving children, helpless
adults, or pets in a vehicle with the

windows closed is dangerous. They
can be overcome by the extreme
heat and suffer permanent injuries or
even death from heatstroke. Never
leave a child, a helpless adult, or a
pet alone in a vehicle
Resetting Tailgate Window Position
If the tailgate drop/swing, power roof,
rear wiper and rear window defogger
are inoperative, or if the SEE
MANUAL TAILGATE message is
displayed on the Driver Message
Center, reset the tailgate window
position.
Press and hold the front of the
overhead console button and
continue to hold the switch for at
least two seconds after the window
is fully closed.
Press and hold the rear of the
overhead console button to lower
the tailgate glass and continue to
hold the switch for at least two
seconds after the window is fully
open.
If these steps do not restore
functions, see your dealer for service.
Lower the tailgate
There are two pressure switches on the
tailgate handle; one on the left and the
other in the center.
To lower the tailgate:
Unlock all doors.
Lower the tailgate glass.
Grasp the center of the handle and
pull. As you press the switch on the
inside of the latch handle you will feel
the tailgate release, allowing you to
lower it to the flat position.
•Aprop rod on the left side of the tail-
gate is available to help support
heavy loads.
Position the rod over the upper
slotted stud on the body side panel to
support flat loads or anytime you are
operating the vehicle with the tailgate
in the down position.
Slightly lift the tailgate, and then posi-
tion the prop rod using the lower slot-
ted stud to raise and support the tail-
gate approximately six degrees in
order to help support long loads like
4x8 building materials.

Press and hold the rear of the over-
head console roof button ( ) to
close the roof. Note: The tailgate
glass will not rise automatically once
the roof is closed.
If the roof stops because of an
obstruction, CLEAR ROOF OF
OBSTRUCTION appears on the
Driver Message Center. Clear the
obstruction and then operate the roof.
•You can also open or close the roof
by inserting the key into the rear tail-
gate cylinder.
•Turn the key clockwise and hold to
open the roof.
•Turn the key counterclockwise and
hold to close the roof.
Reset the roof position
If OPEN THE ROOF appears on the
Driver Message Center, the roof position
may need to be reset.
Place the transmission in
PARK (P) and the ignition in RUN
or ACCESSORY.
Press and hold the front of the over-
head console roof button.
•When the roof is fully open, CLOSE
THE ROOF will appear on the Driver
Message Center and a chime will
sound.
Now press and hold the rear of the
overhead console roof button until the
words ROOF IS CLOSED appear on
the Driver Message Center.
If the words ROOF IS CLOSED do
not appear within one minute, or the
roof does not operate after the reset
process, see your dealer.

•When not in use, secure the prop rod
in the retaining clip located on the
side of the tailgate.
Swing the tailgate open
•To swing the tailgate open, grasp
the left side of the tailgate handle and
pull toward you; then swing the
tailgate to its open position.
If the rear window is closed, the glass
will open slightly to allow the gate to
open. The glass will then rise to its
fully closed position when the tailgate
is shut.
Power Sliding Rear Roof
Your vehicle is equipped with a power
sliding rear roof. The controls are locat-
ed in the overhead console and in the
tailgate.
The ignition key must be in the ON
or ACCESSORY position and the
transmission in PARK (P).
Press and hold the front of the over-
head console roof button to open the
roof. If the tailgate glass is closed
when you press the switch, the glass
first will lower before the roof begins
to open.

All-Weather Cargo Area and
Quick Drain System
Your vehicle is equipped with cargo area
floor drains and a durable, synthetic
cargo mat.
Cargo Tie-Downs
There are four movable cargo tie-downs
installed in the cargo area. The cargo
tie-downs can be relocated to any of the
12 locations in the cargo area.
Remove the cargo
tie down you wish
to move using a 10
millimeter hex head
socket.
Unscrew and
remove the plastic plug in the location
where the cargo tie-down is to be
installed.
Install the cargo-tie down in new
location using a 10 millimeter hex
head socket.
Install the plastic plug in place of the
removed cargo tie-down by pushing it
into place.
Cargo Area Floor Drains
Clean the cargo
area floor drains
periodically to
allow water to exit
the cargo area.
Lower the
Midgate.
Lift the Midgate flap to access the
cargo area floor drain covers.
Remove the pushpin in the top
surface of the floor drain cover with
a Phillips screwdriver.
Lift each floor drain cover straight up.
Reverse the process to reinstall the
cargo area floor drain covers before
operating the vehicle.
Remove the cargo area mat
You can remove the cargo mat.
However, it must be
installed during
vehicle operation.
Remove the two
pushpins in the
top surface of
the cargo mat
with a Phillips
screwdriver.
Push the cargo mat forward as far as
it will go.
Lift up on the tab of the rear of the
cargo mat and lift it from the vehicle.
Reverse the process to reinstall the
cargo mat before operating the
vehicle.

Electronically Controlled
Air Suspension System
(if equipped)
The Electronically Controlled Air
Suspension System automatically
adjusts the rear of the vehicle to a level
ride height whether it is loaded or
unloaded. The system includes an air
compressor, which may produce an
occasional “whirring” or “hissing” sound
under the rear of the vehicle. This sound
indicates that the system air compressor
is operating to provide a level ride
height, and is normal.
