Novogrip Access
Tactile tiles
The tactile ooring tiles Novogrip Access alert people who are blind
or visually impaired about areas with obstacles or unprotected
gaps, due to its contrast design and the tactile studs pattern. The
Novogrip tiles are easy to install with adhesive and easy to main-
tain, offering a simple solution for accessibility compliance in in-
door areas of infrastructure and public buildings, but also suitable
for particular uses.

Applications
To be installed as a warning element of the risk posed by train platforms, walkways, beginning and end
of staircases, among others, mainly for the blind or the visual disabled. Easy to install using adhesives.
The Novogrip Access tiles, when installed in staircases, serve as a tactile and visual signaling element.
It si suitable for indoor installations, although it also can be installed outdoors under cover without
receiving direct sunlight, as it is not resistant to UV.
Materials
Novogrip Access is made of termoplastic polyurethane (TPU).
TPU is a termoplastic polymer that does not require vulcanizing to be processed. It can be conformed
by injection molding, extrusion or blow molding. The TPU is highly resistant to abrasion, tear, wear,
oxygen, ozone and low temperatures. It is a very common plastic in engineering and special applica-
tions.
