Defining thickness of the plate by reading the plate code. In one of the angles of the plate you

can find code of the plate (one digit + one letter). First digit means thickness of plate. 3 means

0,3 mm, 4 means 0,4 mm. Letter means type of plate (H, M or L). If the marking is not present at

any of angles – plate is 0,3 mm thick.

Defining type of the plate. If the plate doesn’t have marking in the corner, you can check type of

the plate on the label of the HEX. Type of plate is described in the naming. Example: XGM032H-1-30.

Letter H shows, that plate pack type is H. Plate type can be H, M or L.

To service the hex, please order correct plate type, using codes below:

079B0419 PLATES 4H. 0,4 XGM032H 1.4404 I-P 10

079B0418 PLATES 4H. 0,4 XGM032L 1.4404 I-P 10

079B0417 PLATES 4H. 0,4 XGM032M 1.4404 I-P 10

Calculation of A dimension. N is number of plates

• Only 0.3 mm plates. A=2,3*n

• Only 0.4 mm plates. A= 2,4*n

• Mix of 0.3 mm + 0.4 mm plates A=2,3*n0.3 mm plates+2,4*n0,4 mm plates

Measuring A dimension. A dimension is length of assembled and tightened plate pack of heat plates.

A dimension does not include plate with connections (if the HEX has it). Please see photo below.

1. Define the plate thickens

2. Define plate type

3. Order replacement plates of the type you need

4. Replace plates with new ones

5. Assemble the HEX, strictly following instruction manual and A dimension.
