Precautions
Before using the Bluetooth 2.1 speaker system, make sure you check if the
voltage corresponds to your local power supply.
Do not expose your Multimedia 2.1 Bluetooth speaker SY-X221B to high
temperatures, water, moisture, dust or rain. Avoid strong impacts against the
speaker.
Do not attempt to disassemble the product. This will void the warranty and
can cause high risks of electric shock. Contact Sytech technical service center
for any repair or information.
Make sure to turn off the unit and unplug it from the main AC outlet when not
in use.
Do not use abrasive liquids or cleaners to clean the unit.
Do not place the unit next to strong magnetic fields.
If any liquid falls into the unit, unplug the unit immediately and have it checked
by the Sytech technical service department.
Make sure to unplug the unit before cleaning it.
Please use the connection cable of the unit. Do not use any accessories
equipment not recommended by Sytech.

1. Connections
Caution: Please turn off the power of the unit before connecting the AC power cord.
The main power button is located at the back of the subwoofer.
Connecting the speakers
Connect the satellite speakers to the main Subwoofer audio output.
Before turning on the unit, make sure the volume level is set to minimum.
Connecting to AUX IN
Connect the included RCA cable to the woofer audio input and the other side
(3.5mm. Jack) to the external audio device. When using AUX IN connection, the functions
on the woofer will not be operative and only the volume control will work.
All the rest of the functions such as advance to the next track, pause or play will need to be
carried away from the external audio device.
2. Playback with Bluetooth
Pairing a device
To connect your Bluetooth device to the 2.1 Multimedia speaker, you first need to pair the
device with the speaker. Pairing needs only needs to be done once.
Note:
The operational range between the device and the speaker is approximately 10 meter.
Before you connect a Bluetooth device to the speaker, familiarize yourself with the
Bluetooth capabilities of the device.

Compatibility with all Bluetooth devices is not guaranteed.
Any obstacle between the speaker and a Bluetooth device can reduce the operation
range
Keep the unit away from other electronic devices that may cause interference.
1. Turn on your multimedia speaker and press the Bluetooth button on the remote. A
beep sound will be heard to confirm the BT selection. The LED light at this moment
will turn to blue.
2. Turn on your mobile, tablet, PC device and activate the Bluetooth function.
3. Search for new devices and SY-X221BT should appear on your device.
4. You may be asked to enter a code number which in this case would be “0000”
5. Once done, a beep sound should be heard from the Multimedia speaker confirming
the Bluetooth pairing between the speaker and your device.
6. Now you can stream your music and listen through your Multimedia speakers.
Note:
The device will automatically disconnect when it is located beyond the operational
range.
If you wish to reconnect your device, you will need to place your device within the
operational range.
The device should support “Advanced Audio Distribution Profile” A2DP.
If you wish to connect a new device to the Multimedia speaker, you will first need to
disconnect the previous device as the SY-X221BT can only support one connection
at a time.
3. Playback with USB / SD card
1. Press the USB/SD button on the remote control or the subwoofer to switch to your
desired function.
2. Insert a USB pen drive or a SD card to the corresponding slot.
3. Press the Play button on your remote or on the unit to start playing back your MP3
files.
4. Press the Next button to advance to the next track or previous button to go back to
your previous track.

4. Connecting external Audio device
1. Connect the RCA cable to the back input of the subwoofer.
2. Connect the 3.5mm. jack to the external audio device. (MP3, Discman,
Walkman,etc.)
3. Playback from your audio device to hear the music through the Multimedia
speakers.
Note:
The playback and track selector buttons will not be operative. All the functions will
need to be executed from the audio device.

6. Troubleshooting
If you experience any problem with the SY-X221BT, check the list below for a possible solution
before contacting Sytech technical department. In the case your problem cannot get solved,
contact the Sytech customer care department.
No Power
No Sound
Volume is too low. Increase the volume level on the speaker and the connected
device.
Speaker connection is incorrect
Bluetooth device:
The music does not playback.
The device cannot be used with the Multimedia speaker due to incompatibility.
The audio quality is poor after connecting a Bluetooth device.
Place the device closer to the Multimedia speaker or remove any obstacle between
the speaker and the device.
The device cannot connect to the Multimedia speaker.
The device does not support the profiles required by the multimedia speaker.
The Bluetooth function of the device is not enabled. Refer to the manual of the device
to learn more about Bluetooth connection.
The Multimedia speaker is not in pairing mode.
The Multimedia speaker is already paired with another device. Disconnect the device
and try again.
The mark is in compliance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Directive 2002/96/ EC (WEEE). The mark indicates the requirement NOT to dispose
the equipment including any spent or discarded batteries as unsorted municipal waste,
but use the return and collection systems available.

Notes for battery disposal
Your unit contains batteries covered by the European Directive 2006/66/EC, which cannot be
disposed of with normal household waste. Please take note about the local rules on separate
collection of batteries. The correct disposal of batteries helps prevent potentially negative
consequences on the environment and human health.
