Keyless Access allows you to effortlessly operate the doors, ignition, and trunk without removing the key from your pocket or purse. The Remote Keyless Entry transmitter grants access to your Cadillac CTS Sedan 2018 from a distance of up to 3 feet. Simply press the lock button on the driver's door handle to unlock the driver's door, and press it again within 5 seconds to unlock all doors. You can also use the transmitter to open the trunk by pressing the button twice.

REMOTE KEYLESS
ENTRY TRANSMITTER
KEYLESS ACCESS SYSTEM
Lock
Press to lock all doors.
Unlock
Press to unlock the driver's door
andfuel door. Press again to unlock
alldoors.
Press and hold to open all windows.
Note: To change the Remote Lock and
Unlock settings, go to Settings > Vehicle >
Remote Lock, Unlock, Start.
Remote Start
Use to start the engine from outside the
vehicle. See Adaptive Remote Start on page 17.
Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm
Press and release to locate your vehicle. e exterior lamps ash
and the horn sounds.
Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate the alarm. e turn signal
lamps ash and the horn sounds for 30 seconds, or until the
buon is pressed again or the vehicle is started.
Trunk Release
Press twice to open the trunk.
Door Key
Press the buon (A) on the side of the transmier to pull the door
key out of the transmier. Use the key to lock/unlock the driver’s
door, front passenger’s door and rear folding seats.

e Keyless Access System enables operation of the doors, ignition
and trunk without removing the Remote Keyless Entry transmier
from your pocket or purse. e transmier must be within 3 feet
of the door being unlocked or the trunk.
KEYLESS UNLOCKING
With the transmier within range:
Press the lock buon on the driver’s door handle to unlock
thedriver’s door; press it again within 5 seconds to unlock
alldoors.
Press the lock buon
on a passenger door
handle to unlock all
doors.
Press the touch pad
above the license plate
to open the trunk.
KEYLESS LOCKING
With the ignition o, the transmier removed from the vehicle,
andall doors closed:
Press the lock buon on any door handle to lock all doors
immediately.
If Passive Locking is turned on, all doors will lock automatically
aer a short delay once all doors are closed. e fuel door will
lock automatically aer several minutes (press the
Unlock
buon on the transmier to unlock the fuel door).
Note: To change the door lock and unlock settings, go to Settings > Vehicle
> Remote Lock, Unlock, Start.

KEYLESS START
START
With the vehicle in Park or
Neutral, press the brake pedal
and then press the ENGINE
START/STOP buon to start
theengine. e green indicator
on the buon will illuminate.
Note: The Remote Keyless Entry
transmitter must be in the vehicle to turn on the ignition. If the transmit-
ter battery is weak, place thetransmitter in the pocket under the rubber
mat on the top shelf of the center console to enable the engine to start.
Replace the transmitter battery as soon as possible.
STOP/OFF
Shi to Park and press the ENGINE START/STOP buon to
turn o theengine.
Power will be available for 10 minutes to operate the audio system
until the driver’s door is opened and to operate the windows and
sunroof
until any door is opened.
ACCESSORY
With the engine o and the brake pedal NOT depressed, press
the ENGINE START/STOP buon to place the vehicle in
Accessory mode. e amber indicator on the buon will
illuminate.

AUTO ENGINE STOP/START OPERATION
(IF EQUIPPED)
A fuel-saving automatic engine stop/start system is included on
vehicles equipped with the 2.0L L4 turbocharged engine or 3.6L
V6engine.
While driving, when the brake pedal is applied and the vehicle is
at a complete stop, the auto engine stop/start system may turn o
the engine, depending on operating conditions. When the engine
is o, the tachometer gauge will read AUTO STOP. Upon releasing
the brake pedal or applying the accelerator pedal, the engine will
restart. Aer parking the vehicle and turning o the engine, the
tachometer gauge will read OFF.
e engine may remain running or restart when the vehicle is
stopped if:
A minimum vehicle speed is not reached.
e engine or transmission is not at the required operating
temperature.
e outside temperature is not in the required operating range.
e shi lever is in any gear other than D (Drive).
e baery charge is low.
e climate control system requires the engine to run based on
the current seings.
e Auto Stop time is greater than 2 minutes.
AUTO ENGINE STOP/START DISABLE
Press the
$
buon le of the infotainment screen when the
engine is running to disable the auto engine stop/start system.
When the system is disabled, the buon indicator will not be illu-
minated and the
$
symbol on the instrument cluster will change
from green to white with a slash through it.

When active, press the control bar up (+) or down () lightly to
increase or decrease the set speed by 1-mph increments; press up or
down fully to increase or decrease the set speed to the next 5-mph
interval on the speedometer.
Cancel
Press to cancel cruise control without erasing the set speed from
memory.

1. With the vehicle in Park, use the 5-way control on the steering
wheel to view the Options page in one of the display zones on
the cluster.
2. Press SEL (Select) to enter the Options menu.
3. Scroll
down to highlight Display Layout; press SEL.
4. Scroll up or
down to highlight one of the cluster
congurations; press SEL.
5. Press to exit the menu.

DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER
e Driver Information Center (DIC) on the instrument cluster
displays a variety of vehicle information. e DIC Info Pages may
include a digital speedometer, trip odometers, fuel range, aver-
age fuel economy, instantaneous fuel economy, average speed,
timer, compass, turn arrow, estimated time to arrival, distance to
destination, speed limit, best fuel economy, speed warning, cruise
control set speed, following distance indicator, gap seing, baery
voltage, engine boost, oil life, and odometer.
INFO PAGES MENU
1. Use the 5-way control on the steering wheel to view the Options
page in one of the display zones on the cluster. Press SEL
(Select) to enter the Options menu.
2. Scroll
down to highlight Info Pages; press SEL.
3. Scroll up or
down to move through the list of
InfoPages.
4. Press SEL to select or deselect a display item.

HEAD-UP DISPLAY
e Head-Up Display (HUD) displays some operating information
onto the windshield. e HUD controls are located on the le side
of the instrument panel.
HUD
Li up or press down to adjust the position of the image. It cannot
be adjusted side-to-side.
INFO
Press to select from four displays: Speed View; Audio/Phone View;
Navigation View; and Performance View.
+ –
Li up or press down to brighten or dim the display.
Hold down to turn o the display.
ROTATION OPTION
Adjust the angle of the HUD image to compensate for windshield
variations.
To adjust the angle of the HUD, use the 5-way control to view
the Options menu on the instrument cluster and select HUD
Rotation.

If the Auto Set feature is enabled, the time will be updated
automatically as the system obtains time information from the
cellular network.
STORING STATION FAVORITES
Radio stations from all bands (AM, FM or SiriusXM

Bluetooth system while driving.
Before using a Bluetooth-enabled device in the vehicle, it must be
paired with the in-vehicle Bluetooth system. Not all devices will sup-
port all functions. e pairing process is disabled when the vehicle is
moving. For more information, visit my.cadillac.com/learn.
PAIR A PHONE
1. To use voice recognition, press the Push to Talk buon;
aer the tone, say "Pair Phone."
To use the infotainment screen, select Phone > Add Device.
2. Start the pairing process on the phone. From your phone's
Bluetooth seings, select the name shown on the infotainment
screen.
3. Conrm the codes that appear on the infotainment screen and
thephone.
4. When pairing is complete, the phone screen is displayed. Your
phone book may be downloaded depending on the phone.

VALET MODE
To lock/unlock the infotainment screen and the glove box, go to
Seings > Vehicle > Valet Mode and enter a passcode. It can be
used when it’s desired that only an authorized user has access
to personalized features.
Note: For added security, the rear seat pass-through door can be locked by
turning the knob on the pass-through door and the folding rear seatbacks
can be locked using the door key.

WIRELESS CHARGING
ONSTAR® WITH 4G LTE AND WI-FI®
With OnStar 4G LTE and Wi-Fi, up to 7 devices (smartphones,
tablets and laptops) can be connected to high-speed internet
through the vehicle’s built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.
To retrieve or change the SSID and password for the hotspot,
select Seings > System > Wi-Fi Hotspot; or press the OnStar
Voice Command buon on the overhead console or rearview
mirror, wait for the prompt, and then say “Wi-Fi seings.” e
information will be displayed on the screen.
For assistance, press the blue OnStar buon or call

e Wireless Charging system is located in the storage
compartment behind the climate controls. To check mobile device

2. Remove all objects from the charging pad.
3. Place the mobile device, face up, on the symbol on the
chargingpad.
4. Move the device slowly until the baery charging symbol
displays on the infotainment screen, indicating the device

TEEN DRIVER SURROUND VISION
Teen Driver allows multiple keys to be registered for beginning
drivers. When active, the system automatically activates certain
safety systems, allows seing of some features, and limits the
use of others. A Report Card records vehicle data about driving
behavior. When the vehicle is started with a registered key, a Driver
Information Center message displays that Teen Driver is active.
To create a Personal Identication Number, register a key,
change Teen Driver seings, or access the Report Card, go to
Seings > Vehicle > Teen Driver.

OPEN/CLOSE THE SUNSHADE
Press the front or rear of the
Front Sunshade switch (A)
toexpress-open or express-close the front sunshade.

Rear Sunshade switch (B) toexpress-open or
express-close the rear sunshade.
OPEN/CLOSE THE SUNROOF
Press the rear of the Sunroof switch (C) to vent the
sunroof. Press the switch again to express-open the
sunroof.
Press the front of the Sunroof switch to express-close
thesunroof.

POWER CUPHOLDERS COVER
Push or pull and then release the chrome tab to open/close the
power retractable cover. e power cover will operate when
the
vehicle is On, or in Accessory or Retained Accessory Power
mode.
Open/close the cover manually when power is not provided to the
cupholder cover by slowly pushing or pulling the chrome tab.

SET MEMORY POSITIONS
With the ignition On or in Accessory mode:
1. Adjust the driver's seat, power outside mirrors and power
steering column
to the desired positions.
2. Press and release the SET buon on the driver's door. A beep
will sound. Immediately press and hold buon 1 until two
beepssound.
Repeat these steps using buon 2 for a second driver.
To store driver's seat and power steering column
positions for
more clearance when exiting the vehicle, repeat steps 1 and 2 using
the Exit buon.
RECALL POSITIONS
Press buon 1, 2 or Exit. e buon must be held down
until the seat, mirrors and power steering column
reach the
setposition.
Note: To change the Auto Memory Recall settings, go to Settings > Vehicle
> Comfort and Convenience.

DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS
SAFETY ALERT SEAT
e driver’s seat pulses — le side, right side, or simultaneously
toalert the driver of potential hazards.
Audible alerts may be selected instead of Safety Alert Seat
pulsing alerts. To change the alert seing, go to Seings >
Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems > Alert Type.
FORWARD COLLISION ALERT
e Vehicle Ahead indicator is green when a vehicle is detected
and is amber when following a vehicle ahead much too closely.
When approaching a vehicle directly ahead too rapidly, a red alert
ashes on the windshield and the Safety Alert Seat pulses or beeps
sound (if selected).
To set the alert timing, press the
Following Gap buon on
the le side of the steering wheel.
FOLLOWING DISTANCE INDICATOR
e following time to the vehicle ahead is indicated in seconds
on the Driver Information Center. Ifno vehicle is detected ahead,
dashes are displayed.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
If a vehicle is detected ahead,
the vehicle accelerates or brakes
moderately to maintain the driver-
selected cruise speed and following
gap.

LANE KEEP ASSIST WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNING
e system may help avoid collisions due to unintentional lane
departures. e Lane Keep Assist indicator is green ifthe
system is available to assist. If the vehicle approaches a detected
lane marking without using a turn signal in that direction, the sys-
tem may assist by gently turning the steering wheel and displaying
an amber . If active driver steering is not detected, the amber
may ash and the Safety Alert Seat may pulse or beeps may
sound (if selected) on the side of the departure direction as the lane
marking is crossed. In order to use this system safely, the driver
needs to steer and be in complete control of the vehicle.
To turn the system on or o, press the
Lane Keep Assist
buon on the le side of the infotainment screen.
FORWARD/REVERSE AUTOMATIC BRAKING
e brakes may be applied automatically in potential collision situ-
ations to help reduce damage or help avoid collisions with vehicles
directly ahead or behind, and with some objects behind, your vehicle.
To set Forward Automatic Braking to Alert and Brake, Alert, or
O, go to Seings > Vehicle > Collision/Detection Systems >
Forward Collision System.
To set Reverse Automatic Braking to on or o, press the
Parking Assist buon on the le side of the instrument
panel. is will also turn on/o the Parking Assist and Rear
Cross Trac Alert systems.
AUTOMATIC SAFETY BELT TIGHTENING
e front safety belts automatically tighten during emergency
braking or steering maneuvers, and release when driving conditions
return tonormal.

DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS
When the vehicle is on, the auto heated seats and auto heated
steering wheel or auto ventilated seats will be activated based on
the vehicle’s interior temperature. Turn o the heated or ventilated
seats using the seat controls. Turn o the heated steering wheel
using the steering wheel control.
To turn the features on or o, goto Seings > Vehicle > Climate
and Air Quality.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT
With the vehicle in Reverse, the system warns of trac coming
in either direction by displaying a red alert on the infotainment
screen and the le or right side of the Safety Alert Seat pulses or
beeps sound (if selected).
To turn the system on or o, press the Parking Assist
buon on the right side of the
infotainment

also turn the Parking Assist and Rear Automatic Braking
systems on/o.
LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT
While driving, the system displays a warning symbol on the
le or right side mirror when a vehicle is detected in that side blind
zone area or rapidly approaching that area. e warning symbol
ashes if a turn signal is activated when a vehicle has been detected
on the same side.
To turn the system on or o, go to Seings > Vehicle > Collision/
Detection Systems > Lane Change Alert.

ADAPTIVE REMOTE START
STARTING THE VEHICLE
1. Press and release the Lock buon on the Remote Keyless
Entry transmier.
2. Immediately press and hold the Remote Start buon until
the turn signal lamps ash.
When the vehicle starts, the doors remain locked, and the park-
ing lamps will light and remain on while the vehicle is running.
e engine will continue running for 10 minutes. Repeat these
steps for a 10-minute time extension. Remote start can be
extended only once.
3. Before driving, simultaneously press the brake pedal and the
ENGINE START/STOP buon to turn on the ignition.
CANCELING A REMOTE START
Press and hold the Remote Start buon until the parking
lamps turn o.
CLIMATE CONTROL OPERATION
During a remote start, the automatic climate control system
willoperate at the same seing as when the vehicle was last
turnedo.
HEATED/VENTILATED SEAT OPERATION
Select the Remote Start Auto Heat Seats or Remote Start Auto
Cool Seats option in the Seings menu to have the heated seats
or ventilated seats turn on during a remote start. e temperature
performance of an unoccupied seat may be reduced. e heated/
ventilated seats turn o when the ignition is turned on.

Optional equipment
e traction control system limits wheelspin and the StabiliTrak
stability control system assists with directional control of the
vehicle in dicult driving conditions. Both systems turn on
automatically every time the vehicle is started.
Turn o traction control if the vehicle is stuck and rocking the
vehicle is required.

TEMPORARY TAP MODE
While in Drive (D), use either paddle behind the steering
wheelto temporarily take control of gear selection. Automatic
shiing returns if no manual shis have been made aer 10
seconds.
Pull the right paddle to upshi or the le paddle to downshi.
e current gear will be displayed on the instrument cluster.
PERMANENT TAP MODE
Press the M (Manual) buon on top of the shi lever to enable
theManual mode. Use the paddles to manually shi the
transmission.
If current vehicle speed is too high or too low for the requested gear,
the shi will not occur.

DRIVER MODE CONTROL SYSTEM
e Driver Mode Control System automatically adjusts steering,
automatic transmission and Magnetic Ride Control (if equipped)
seings in real time.
Press the MODE buon on the center console to select the

Track
mode.

Automatic Parking Assist
steers the vehicle to help park
in paralleland perpendicular
spaces.
1. Press the Automatic
Parking Assist buon on
the rightside of the info-
tainment touch screen. A
beep sounds and a parking
assist display is shown on
the infotainment screen. e system will begin searching for a
large enough parking space.
2. To switch between parallel and perpendicular parking, touch
the Parking Type screen buon during the search process.
3. e system searches for parking spaces to the right of the
vehicle. To search for a parking space to the le, touch the
Select Side screen buon.
4. Once a space is found, shi the vehicle into Reverse to engage
automatic steering.
5. Remove your hands from the steering wheel and accelerate or
brake as required. Shiing directions and a progress arrow will
be displayed on the infotainment screen.
6. Parking Complete is displayed and a beep sounds when the
parking maneuver is complete.

Note: The parking brake will

Low Tire Pressure warning light on the instrument cluster
illuminates when one or more of the vehicle’s tires is signicantly
underinated. Fill the tires to the proper tire pressures listed on
the Tire and Loading Information label, located below the driver’s
door latch. Current tire pressures can be viewed on the Driver
Information Center.
Refer to your Owner's Manual for additional information about normal
monthly tire maintenance.
