PowerStroke PS803166E is a battery maintainer charger that is specifically designed to keep the 12V 4.5Ah/20HR sealed lead acid battery model LPL 12-4.5 supplied with this pressure washer fully charged and ready for use. To use the charger, simply plug it into a standard household 120V receptacle, disconnect the starter cable on the pressure washer from the connection port on the battery, and connect the charger to the connection port on the battery. The light on the charger will illuminate red while the battery is charging, and will turn green when the battery is fully charged.

USING THE BATTERY MAINTAINER
CHARGER
See Figure 1.
When storing the pressure washer, connect
the battery maintainer charger to keep the
battery fully charged and ready for use.
NOTE: The battery maintainer charger
provided should only be used with the 12V
4.5Ah/20HR sealed lead acid battery mod-
el LPL 12-4.5 supplied with this pressure
washer.
nPlug the battery maintainer charger into
a standard household 120V receptacle.
Make sure the household power supply
is 120V, AC only, 60 Hz.
n Disconnect the starter cable on the
pressure washer from the connection
port on the battery.
For additional assistance,
please call customer service at 1-877-617-3501.
nConnect the battery maintainer charger
to the connection port on the battery. The
light on the battery maintainer charger will
illuminate red while the battery is charging.
nThe battery will become slightly warm to
the touch while charging. This is normal
and does not indicate a problem. When
battery is fully charged, the red light will
turn green.
NOTE: If the light does not illuminate, the
battery maintainer fuse may need to be
replaced. Check the fuse and replace if
needed.
When ready to use pressure washer:
nDisconnect the battery maintainer
charger.
n Reconnect the starter cable on the
pressure washer to the connection port
on the battery, making sure the plug is
fully seated.

Cuando almacene la lavadora de presión,
conecte el cable de carga del mantenedor

NOTA: El mantenedor de carga de la batería
que se incluye solo debe usarse con el mod-
elo de batería de plomo y ácido LPL 12-4.5
de 12 V 4,5Ah/20 horas provista con esta
lavadora de presión.
nConecte el cable de carga del mantenedor
de carga de la batería a la línea de
alimentación. Asegúrese de que el
suministro de corriente sea solo el
doméstico normal, de 120 voltios, solo
de corriente alterna y de 60 Hz.
n Desconecte el cable de arranque de la
lavadora a presión del puerto de conexión
de la batería.
nConecte el otro extremo del cable de
carga del mantenedor de la puerto de
conexión de la batería. La luz roja del
enchufe se encenderá para indicar que
se está cargando la batería.
nLa batería se siente un poco caliente al
tacto mientras se está cargando. Esto es
normal y no indica ningún problema. Una
vez cargado completamente el batería,
la luz roja se ponga verde.
NOTA: Si la luz no se enciende, es posible
que sea necesario cambiar el fusible del
mantenedor de carga de la batería. Revise
el fusible y cámbielo si fuese necesario.
Cuando esté listo para usar la lavadora
a presión:
nDesconecte el cable de carga del
mantenedor de carga de la
batería.
n Vuelva a conectar el cable de arranque de
la lavadora a presión al puerto de conexión
de la batería, asegúrandose de que el
enchufe quede bien colocado.
