NM-1FE1CT1, NM-1FE1CT1-CSU, NM-1FE1CE1B, NM-1FE1CE1U, NM-1FE2CT1,
NM-1FE2CT1-CSU, NM-1FE2CE1B, and NM-1FE2CE1U network modules were introduced in 1998. They
provide Fast Ethernet and T1/E1 connectivity options that, when combined with digital modem network
modules, enable digital dial in a Cisco 3620 while providing a LAN connection. Since the Cisco
NM-1FE2CT1-CSU and NM-1FE2CE1U are used in Cisco 3620 dial bundles—Cisco 3620MBUNDLE-24DM
and 3620MBUNDLE-30DM—it is also necessary to announce the end of sale of these bundles. Cisco is announcing
the end of sale of these network modules and associated bundles, with a last sale date of September 24, 2003.

Recommended Replacement Products
Recommended Replacement Products for Cisco Network Modules
The recommended replacement products are the Cisco NM-1CT1, NM-1CT1-CSU, NM-1CE1B, NM-1CE1U,
NM-2CT1, NM-2CT1-CSU, NM-2CE1B, and NM-2CE1U network modules (Table 2). These modules are
supported in all of the Cisco 2600, 3600, and 3700 series routers. Please note that the recommended replacement
products do not include a built-in Fast Ethernet port. However for most applications and configurations, these
modules can still act as a direct replacement for the LAN/WAN combination network modules affected by this end
of sale announcement.
Details on the Cisco NM-1CT1, NM-1CT1-CSU, NM-1CE1B, NM-1CE1U, NM-2CT1, NM-2CT1-CSU,
NM-2CE1B, and NM-2CE1U network modules can be found in the data sheet, available at:

Recommended Migration for Cisco 3620 Dial Bundles
The recommended replacement products for Cisco 3620 dial bundles are the Cisco 3725 dial bundles. The
replacement one- and two-Primary Rate Interface (PRI) WAN network modules, when combined with the digital
modem network module in a Cisco 3725 dial bundle, provide the same capabilities as a similarly equipped Cisco
3620—but offer greater flexibility and investment protection at the same solution price. Cisco 3725 dial solutions
offer the following advantages over similarly equipped Cisco 3620 solutions:
An additional Fast Ethernet port
Three additional WAN interface slots
