1. Carefully remove Primo from the packaging (retain packaging for storage). Ensure instructions
and safety warnings are fully understood.
2. Primo's lid is made in two parts, ensure both parts are fitted before using Primo.
3. Before using Primo for the first time, wipe out the tank with a cloth and wash the rack and both
parts of the lid in warm soapy water.
4. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to wipe Primo. Rinse the parts under running
water and dry them thoroughly before using Primo.
5. Place Primo onto a stable countertop. Fill Primo with water. For optimal heat transfer, fill 2/3
full with water. Do not overfill Primo as you will need to leave room for food to cook.
6. Primo must be at least half full in order to work correctly.
7. Place the tray and rack into the tank and fit both parts of the lid. It is important the tray is used.
Do not place food directly onto the base of the bath.
8. Plug Primo into a suitable mains outlet.
9. The display will illuminate and briefly display the software release number, followed by the tank
size (10L) and then display 4 dashes (-----). Primo is now ready to set the cooking temperature.
10. Once Primo has reached the set temperature, place your vacuum sealed food into the water,
ensuring vacuum pouches are separated using the rack provided. Replace the lid and cook for
the time dictated by your recipe.
11. Primo has a standby mode. With the temperature set, press and hold the Time Mode/Set button
for 3 seconds. The display will show ‘Off’. Press the Time Mode/Set button again and the display
will show a single point. Primo is now in standby. To activate Primo, press either the Time Mode/
Set button or the Temperature Mode/Set button.
