USING
Tips on muting:
If you use a control on your computer to mute the
speakers, be sure to unmute them before turning off
the power.
Or you can use the power button on the right speaker or
the remote control to turn off both speakers. Press this
button again to resume play at your previous volume.
Tips on using the remote control:
Some conditions, such as room lighting, furniture that
blocks the signal path, or direct sunlight, can affect
remote operation.
If the remote does not work as it should:
Point the remote more directly at the right speaker,
which receives the remote control signals.
Dim the room lights
or
move the speakers away from
direct sunlight.
Move closer to the system when you use the remote.
If the problem persists, replace the remote control
battery.
7
MAINTAINING
Caring for your speakers
The only maintenance necessary is replacing the remote
control battery when necessary.
You
may also want
to
clean the speakers, as needed.
To
clean the speakers
Wipe each speaker

Do not
allow
liquids
to
spill
on the speakers or to enter
the vent on the side
of
each speaker.
Do not use abrasives, liquids, or sprays on the speakers
or speaker
grilles.

OUR COMMITMENT TO
YOU
We take great pride in designing each
of
our products with the goal
of
providing the high-
est accuracy musical performance possible in the price range
of
that product. We strive to
reproduce the musical sounds as closely as possible to those
of
the original performance.
And we strive to avoid flashy sounds such
as
those associated with accentuated bass
and/or treble frequencies. While those sounds may be initially attractive to the novice,
they are not real and are not enduring. In addition, we use only the highest quality parts
and the latest assembly and quality control techniques to ensure the reliability and long
life
of
our products.
Our reputation rests on our steadfast pursuit
of
this policy in sound systems for the home,
the automobile, and businesses.
At Bose@ we reinvest 100% of our earnings back into the company. This enables us to
support research that continually gives rise to new technologies for improving sound
reproduction.
When you purchase any product from Bose, we encourage you to compare it, as we do, to
competitive products for musical accuracy. We believe that this process will enhance your
appreciation
of
the product you select.
With best wishes from all
of
us at Bose for many years
of
enjoyable listening.

Avoid power
lines-
Use extreme care when
installing an outside antenna system to keep from
touching
power
lines or circuits, as contact with
them may be fatal. Do
not
install external antennas
near overhead
power
lines
or
other electric light
or
power circuits,
nor
where
an

such circuits
or

20.
Ground all outdoor
antennas-
If
an
external
antenna
or
cable system is connected
to
this
product, be sure the antenna
or
cable system is
grounded. This will provide some protection against
voltage surges and built-up static charges.
