Gordon 93140 The Gordon 93140 automatic soap dispenser is a versatile and convenient addition to any home or business. With a generous 16.9-fluid ounce capacity, the dispenser can hold a ample supply of liquid soap, shampoo, or lotion. The infra-red sensor dispenses a precise amount of liquid when your hand is placed within 1/2" to 4" of the sensor. The dispenser can be used as a self-standing unit or wall-mounted for added convenience.

The dispenser is powered by four "AA" batteries (not included), which provide long-lasting power.

1. This product is designed for use with liquid soap, shampoo, or lotion only.
Never use chemicals or other toxic liquids.
2. Always wear eye protection. Wear ANSI approved safety impact
goggles when assembling and installing this product.
3. Do not force the product. Use the correct product for your application. The
correct product will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it is
designed.
4. Remove the batteries from the Soap Dispenser before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the unit. Such preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of starting the unit accidentally.
5. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, broken parts, and any
other condition that may affect the Soap Dispenser’s operation. If
damaged, have the unit serviced before using.
6. Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your
model. Accessories that may be suitable for one Soap Dispenser may become
hazardous when used on another Soap Dispenser.
7. Product service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel.
Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel could result in
a risk of injury.
8. When servicing the Soap Dispenser, use only identical replacement parts.
Follow instructions in the
“Inspection, Maintenance, And Cleaning”
section
of this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow maintenance
instructions may create a risk of electric shock or injury.
9. Maintain labels and nameplates on the Soap Dispenser. These carry
important information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for
a replacement.
10. Use the right product for the job. There are certain applications for which this
product was designed. Do not use small equipment, tools, or attachments to do
the work of larger industrial equipment, tools, or attachments. Do not use this
product for a purpose for which it was not intended.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
To Assemble As A Self-Standing Unit:
1. Attach the Stand (4) to the rear of the Base (5). (See Figure A.)
2. Insert the Body (2) onto the top of the Stand (4). Then, secure the Body to the
Stand using the Stand Screw (7). (See Figure A.)

To Assemble As A Wall Mounted Unit:
1. Place the Wall Mount (6) at the desired location against the wall and use the Wall
Mount as a template to mark the position of two 1/4” diameter holes to be drilled.
(See Figure B.)
2. Drill two 1/4” diameter holes and insert the Wall Plugs (9) in the holes.
CAUTION: When drilling holes always first make sure no electrical cables or
wires are in the drilling path. Then, secure the Wall Mount (6) to the wall using
two Wall Mount Screws (8).(See Figure B.)
3. Slide the Body (2) of the Soap Dispenser downward onto the Wall Mount (6).
(See Figure B.)
To Install Batteries:
1. Remove the Battery Cover (3) from the Body (2) of the Soap Dispenser to expose
the Battery Compartment. Install four “AA” alkaline batteries, making sure the
polarity (“+” and “--”) of the batteries match that as shown in the Battery
Compartment. Then, replace the Battery Cover. (See Figure A.)
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Raise the Lid (1) of the Soap Dispenser and fill the unit with up to 16.9 fluid
ounces of liquid soap, shampoo, or lotion. Then, close the Lid. (See Figure A.)
2. Place your hand under the Sensor located on the underside of the Body (2) to
automatically dispense the liquid soap, shampoo, or lotion. NOTE: When the

Soap Dispenser is new it is full of
air pockets
inside the pump system. When you
use the Soap Dispenser for the first time or just after the replacement of liquid
soap, shampoo, or lotion, the unit needs to be automatically turned on several
times to fill those air pockets with liquid soap, shampoo, or lotion.
Note: If the dispenser fails to work properly, always check batteries; they may
need to be replaced.
INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING
1. CAUTION! Always make sure the Soap Dispenser’s batteries are removed
prior
to performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning of the unit.
2. Before each use, inspect the general condition of the Soap Dispenser. Check
for clogging throughout the system, misalignment or binding of moving parts,
damaged or leaking batteries, and any other condition that may affect its safe
operation. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected
before further use. Do not use damaged equipment.
3. When replacing batteries, never attempt to incinerate batteries as they may
explode. Dispose of old batteries according to local solid waste authority
guidelines.
4. When cleaning, wipe the exterior of the Soap Dispenser with a damp, clean
cloth. Do not introduce water or any other liquid into the interior of the Body.
5. CAUTION! All maintenance, service, or repairs not listed in this manual
should only be performed by a qualified service technician.
