GreenBrook SRQD10 Operating instructions

  • Hello, I'm your chat assistant. I've reviewed the user instructions for the SUPER ROD Cable Guide drill bit. This document provides detailed safety guidelines and instructions on how to drill walls and thread cables using the tool, including minimizing brick-burst and properly handling the drill bit. I'm ready to answer your questions about its features and usage.
  • What should I do to minimize brick-burst?
What shoud I do when drilled through the wall?
What is the maximum cable diameter that can be used?
What should I do after drilling is complete?
SAFETY & USER INSTRUCTIONS
Drill wall in normal manner taking care to avoid cables, pipes etc. whether
hidden or not.“
Brick-burst” can be minimised by switching to rotary only mode or
applying less pressure for last portion of drilling.
When drilled through the wall, re-drill moving the bit backwards and
forwards through the hole to clear any debris and make a smooth internal
hole.
Be careful when handling the drill bit after drilling as it may be hot at the
tip end.
Disconnect power from the drilling machine. Remove drill bit from drilling
machine BUT leave the drill in the wall exposed at each side of the wall.
Do not thread cable that is already connected to power supplies.
Cable to be threaded can be tied onto drill bit using either the hole in the
shank or the tip.
Cable can be pushed or pulled through hole produced using the Cable
Guide drill bit.
