Nippon Antenna AU8F is a home use UHF outdoor antenna that provides maximum front/rear ratio, gain, and VSWR for a wide frequency range employing the dual dipole array feeding system. It employs a corner reflector to reduce ghost interference and improve the front/rear ratio. The aluminum arm stand is anti-corrosion and provides better durability, while the stainless antenna probe enhances durability. Suitable for receiving channels 13-69, this antenna offers excellent performance for terrestrial digital TV.

How to connect to electricity supply
Preparation of the water resistant cap:
Clip off the end of water resistant cap
according to the diameter of the coaxial
cable.

F-type
connector
Insert the F-Type connector between the shield
wire mesh and the insulator. Tighten the aluminum
ring by squeezing it with pliers as shown in the picture.
Cut the center conductor at about 1~2 mm from the edge of
the F-Type conector.
Longer conductor may damage the contact terminal.
Cutting the center conductor diagonally will make it
easier to connect the cable.
Note
Conneting coaxial cable to the antenna and water proofing
Connect the coaxial cable to the antenna feeder assembly and tighten the connector
with pliers, etc. Do not over tighten the connector. The torque should be about 2.0 N.m
(20 kgf-cm). Complete with the water resistant cap tightly inserted towards the feeder
assembly. It is recommended that additional protection to wrap self adhesive tape around
the connnector then cover with the water resistant cap for regions that might have salt
damages and (or) heavy rain.
