AMG AMG2006-DR is a dual power feed standard 19" rack-mount subrack, designed to house AMG 2000, 2700, 2900 series video transmission equipment. It takes two 15 volt, 7Amp, DC power feeds both connected to the rear power distribution panel to power the plug-in units via isolation diodes. Front panel LEDs indicates the presence of power on each input power feed. There are also two contact changes over relays controlled by the presence of each power feed in order to provide alarm information regarding failure of one or both of the power feeds.

The AMG2006-DR Subrack is a dual power feed standard 19" rack-mount subrack. It is designed to
house AMG 2000, 2700, 2900 series video transmission equipment.
It takes two 15 volt, 7Amp, DC power feeds both connected to the rear power distribution panel to
power the plug-in units via isolation diodes. Front panel LEDs indicates the presence of power on
each input power feed. There are also two contact changes over relays controlled by the presence of
each power feed in order to provide alarm information regarding failure of one or both of the power
feeds.
Operation of the equipment plugged into the subrack is maintained following failure or loss of either of
the power feeds.

Mounting Details
The unit is designed to be mounted within a standard 19” rack. Care should be taken with regard to air
circulation when populated, taking into account the total heat dissipation of the equipment installed. An
air circulation gap above and below the subrack is recommended when populated to full power
capacity.
Safety
The 2006-DR should only be fed from low voltage supplies. Only AMG equipment should be plugged
into the subrack.

There are no user serviceable parts within the AMG2006-DR products.
