Waldorf Iridium is a high-class synthesizer featuring a wide range of unique sounds with approved Waldorf quality. With its three digital oscillators and two analog filters, it can produce a vast variety of sounds, from classic analog emulations to modern digital soundscapes. The Iridium also features a comprehensive modulation section, with three LFOs, two envelopes, and a komplex modulator. These can be used to create complex evolving sounds or add subtle movement to your patches. Additionally, the Iridium has a powerful effects section, with reverb, delay, distortion, and more.

Setup
Place'the'Iridium'on'a'clean,'even'surface.'
Connections
In'order'to'get'started'w ith'y our 'Iridium 'you'will'need'an'
AC' power' outlet,' a' mixing' console,' an' am p,' and/or' an'
audio'monitor'such'as'a'speaker'cabinet'or'a'headphone.'
You'can'also'use'a'computer'or'sequencer'to'make'use'of'
Iridium’s'MIDI'f ea t u re s .'

1. Turn'all'units'off.'

your' mixing' console'or'your'computer'audio'in-

3. If'you' want'to'use'a'computer,'connect'the'Iridi-

MIDI'device.'

The Rear Panel Connections
The'Iridium 'provides' an'an alog'stereo'au dio'outputs' and'a'
headphones'output.'The'Audio'and'Headphone'outputs'are'
affected'by' the' setting'of' the' Master' Volume' control' dial.'
Use'2'TS'mono'jack'cables'to'connect'the'Audio'output'to'a'
mixer.' The' Iridium' is' a' stereo' instrument.' There' is' no'
inherent'mon o 'outp u t.'Use 'your 'mix in g'con s ole 'to'app ro p-
riately'distribute'the'stereo'channels'in'case.'
Headphones Output and Headphone Volume
Here'you' can'connect'any' headpho-
ne'with'a'1/4-in c h'stereo'plug.'The'
headphone' ou tput' uses' the' same'
signal' as' the' main' output.' The'

Iridium’s'headphone 'volum e'in'addition'to'

Audio Input
Iridium' offers' a' stereo' audio'

Tempo and Play Button

tempo' for' a' selected' sound' programm.' It' af-
fects' the' arpeggiator' and' seque n ce r,' beat-

Press' the' M#":' button' to' start' or' stop' the'
arpeggiator' or' sequencer' for' the' selected'
sound'program.'
About the Touchscreen Display
The' touchscreen' display ' gives' you' an' overview' of' the'
actual'M ode'page,'parameter'changes,'and'delivers'additi-
onal'information.'To'select'a'desired'function,'open'a'pop-
up'menu,'or'to'edit'a'graphic'(e.g.' envelopes)'just'tap'on'it'
and' move' your' finger' up' and' down' or' from' left' to' righ t'
(and' vice' versa).' The' six' endless' dials' on' th e' left' and' the'

Iridium'offers'different'ways'of'loading'sound'programs:'

Editing Parameters
In' order' to' change' or' edit' a' sound' program,' you' must'
access'the'appropriate'parameters.'Depending'on'the'type'
of'parameters,'there'are'different'ways'to'achieve'this:'''
The' controls' on' the' Iridium’s' fro n t ' panel' of fer ' direct'
access' to' the' most' important' sound' parameters.' The'
panel'is' divided' into' several'sections,'each'containing'
knobs'and'dials'associated'with'that'section.'By'adjus-
ting'the'controls' on' the'panel' you' have' instant' access'
to' the' sound.' These' parameters ' a re' called' M"45#/ M"=
