Editing Parameters
In' order' to' change' or' edit' a' sound' program,' you' must'
access'the'appropriate'parameters.'Depending'on'the'type'
of'parameters,'there'are'different'ways'to'achieve'this:'''
The' controls' on' the' Iridium’s' fro n t ' panel' of fer ' direct'
access' to' the' most' important' sound' parameters.' The'
panel'is' divided' into' several'sections,'each'containing'
knobs'and'dials'associated'with'that'section.'By'adjus-
ting'the'controls' on' the'panel' you' have' instant' access'
to' the' sound.' These' parameters ' a re' called' M"45#/ M"=
&"(515&*.'When'editing'a'Panel'parameter,' this' is'dis-
played' in' the' lower' part' of' the' touc h screen ' display'
(parameter'name'and 'correspon ding'value).'
Most' sections' offer' additional' soun d' parameters' tha t'
are'available'through'the'touchscreen'display.' To ' edit'
an'additional'parameter,'press'the'corresponding'mo-

Saving Programs

to'enter'the'sound'program'number'manually.'
7. Finally,'tap'on'@"O5'on'the'tou chscree n'to'store'
the'sound'program'at'the'selected'loca tion.'
8. By' tapp ing' on' >"4,5#' in' the' tou c h screen' or'
pressing' any'button'on'the'front'panel,'you'can'
discard'the'storing'process'at'any'time.'
s Whenever'you'save'a'program,'the'selected'memory'
location' is' over w ritte n.' Therefore,' any' previously'
stored' program ' at' this' location' w ill' be' erased ' and'
there'is'no'way' to' get' it' back.' So,'you' should'do'ba-
ckups' of' y our' sounds' regu larly' by' using' JQ3%&1' in'
the'Load'screen´s'R,1+%4'pop-up'menu.'
