GE DTSR495GF0GG is a dryer with an automatic moisture sensor. Thanks to that function the dryer can detect moisture levels within the drum and stop the cycle once the load is dry, preventing over-drying. It also features a wrinkle care option that periodically tumbles clothes in the dryer after the cycle is complete, to help prevent wrinkles from setting in. With 13 cycles available, including dedicated cycles for delicates, knits, and even a timed dry option, there is a drying cycle for almost any load of laundry.

WRINKLE CARE

Wrinkle Care

Use this option to minindze the wrinkles

in clothes, It provides ai)i)roximately

15 minutes of no-heat tumbling after

the clothes are dry:

If WRINKLE CAREis not ON, the duet will

stop once the timer reaches the WRINKLE

CAREmark on the cycle dial.

This option can only be used with the

COTTONS, EASY CAREand DELICATES

cycles. It you are using the CYCLE SIGNAL

and wm select the WRINKLE CARE option,

a signal will sound at the end of the

drying time and several times during the

WRINKLE CAREcvcle. This will ren/ind w)u

that it is time to remove the clothes.

This teatm'e is only activated in the

COTTONS, EASY CAREand DELICATES cycles.

Th e Dryness Sensor proxides grea ter

(hTing accm'acy than standard machines,

resulting in shorter dry times and better

clothes care. As the clothes tmnble, they

touch a moistm'e sensor. The sensor will

stop the heating cycle as soon as the

clothes have reached the selected dryness.

As a general H/le, if clothes are so,ted properly

Donot addfabric softener sheets once the load

has become warm. Theymay cause fabric softener

stains. Bounce®Fabric Conditioner Dryer Sheets

have been approved for use in aft GEDryers when

used in accordance with the manufacturer's

instructions.

Donot overload.This wastes energy and causes

wrinkling.

Donot dry the following items: fiberglass items,

woolens, rubber-coated #ems,plastics, items with

plastic trim and foam-filled items.

Stainless Steek To clean stainless steel surfaces,

use a damp cloth with a mild, non-abrasive

ducting at least once a year to prevent clogging.

A partially clogged exhaust can lengthen the

drying time.

For the best dxTing perforn_ance the dryer needs to be properly vented. The dryer

will use more energy and run longer if it is not vented to the below specifications. Carefully

follow the details on Exhausting in the Installation Instructions.

• Use only rigid metal 4" (liameter ductwork inside the dryer cabinet. Use only rigid

metal or flexible metal 4" diameter ductwork tot exhausting to the outside.

• Do not use plastic or other combustible ductwork.

• Use the shortest length possible.

• Do not crush or collapse.

• Avoid resting the duct on sharp objects.
