Operating X-Micro TV BAR on Windows Vista’s Windows Media Center
(32bit version)
Before starting to use X-Micro TV BAR, please make sure the version of Windows
Vista you are going to run is meet the following characteristic:
* Vista Home Premium or Vista Ultimate
* 32bit version
* Internet connected
If everything is all right, please follow the steps below to use the TV BAR on Windows
Media Center:
1. Plug the TV BAR into the USB port, Windows Vista will automatically detect the
X-Micro TV BAR and will bring up the Found New Hardware Wizard window;
directly click on cancel button to close this window.
1. Insert Installation CD in your CD-ROM drive, the “AutoPlay” window will appear,
directly click “Run InstallCD.exe”.
2. The “User Account Control” window appears, directly click “Allow”.
3. CD Autorun screen is launched, Install the driver by clicking on Install Driver. Just
follow the prompts to finsh the installation.
5. Launched Windows Media Center,
6. Choose Task => Setting => TV => Setup TV Signal, click on “Yes” to continue
the process.
7. On “Set Up Your TV Signal” screen, press “Next”
8. On “Confirm Your Region” screen, Choose “Yes” and press “Next”.
9. On “Download TV Setup Options” waiting for download completed and press
“Next” when “You Are Done” shows up.
10. On “Set Up Your TV Program Guide” screen, press “Next”
11. On “Guide Privacy” screen, Choose “Yes” and press “Next”.
12. On “Guide Terms of Service” screen, Choose “I agree” and press “Next”.
13. After Enter Your Postal Code, press “Next”
14. “Download Provider Information” and “Download TV Program Guide”
15. On “Scan for Service” screen, press “Start Scan”
16. After the setting, go back main page of Windows Media Center.
17. Selecting Live TV to do TV watching
