Step 1: release LOCK knob tension counterclockwise
Step 2: use 2.5mm hex allen wrench slightly release counterclockwise
Note: do this procedure only,
if you feel roughness in 2 speed shaft
if the draw tube does not function properly
if DDG panel malfunction.

Step 1: release LOCK knob tension counterclockwise
Step 2: release Hex Screw (M5) counterclockwise
Step 3: release Hex Screw (M4) counterclockwise
Step 4: pull out focuser knob (regular knob)
Step 5: release Hex Screw (M4) counterclockwise (2 speed shaft)
Step 6: pull out 2 speed shaft
Step 7: release Hex Screw (M4) counterclockwise
Step 8: pull out focuser knob (2 speed knob)
Step 9: Check with WO technician for 2 speed shaft or 2 speed knob replacement.
Step 10: Final assembly procedure, please reverse step’s 8 through 1 to reserve the assembly procedure and
check all screws are properly install.
Note: always make sure focuser shaft balancing is complete check and all screws are properly installed and
tighten before operation.

Step 1: release LOCK knob tension counterclockwise
Step 2: release Hex Screw (M5) counterclockwise
Step 3: release Half Round Screw counterclockwise (2 pcs.)
Step 4: carefully take out DDG panel (1 unit)
Step 5: draw the gradual tube to 40mm position until all 4 pcs. Half Round Screw appears and then released all screws
completely counterclockwise. (Temporary store away for assembly later).
Step 6: pull the whole draw tube outward (temporary store away for assembly later).
Step 7: release Hex Screw (M4) counterclockwise (2 pcs.)
Step 8: release Hex Screw (M4) counterclockwise (2 pcs.)
Step 9: release bearing holder
clockwise
(4 holders) Note: replace bearing holder only if it has problem. *Counterclockwise
to assemble bearing holder.
Step 10, 11, 12: carefully remember the factory setting for assembly or replacement
Step 13: check if gradual sensor has any damage or need replacement. Note: make sure gradual sensor sits perfectly flat
on draw tube before DDG panel can properly function.
Step 14: follow steps 12 through step 1 for assemble procedure. Note: make sure every step is properly installed before
moving to next step.
4 reminders to watch for:
1. Make sure every steps is carefully examine before installation
2. All screws and bearing holders must be properly install
3. Step 7 and 8 must be properly balanced on both sides before installation. (M4)
4. Step 2 please do not over power and please adjust with caution.
