Introducon
Your new hand blender purees, chops, whisks, beats, grinds and blends food quickly
and easily .
Although the blender is designed for use with its mixing beaker, it can also be used
in a saucepan, bowl or other containers.
Note: The food being mixed will move around inside the container so remember
to use a large enough container so that the food does not spill out.
Cauon: When using your hand blender in a saucepan, do not posion the
saucepan over a heat source
7
Using your Hand blender
1. Aach the blender (8) sha to the motor (4) by lining up the arrows, then
turning the sha counter-clockwise.
2. Place food in the measuring beaker (6) or another suitable container (the
blender sha can be used directly in a pan, but be careful with non-sck
coangs). For the most consistent results, food should be processed in small
quanes.
3. Set the variable speed regulator on the top of the blender (1) to the
appropriate speed seng.
4. Place blender sha (8) in to the desired container, then plug hand blender
into the wall outlet.
5. Hold the unit rmly, then press the on/o switch (2). Move the blender
slowly up, down and from side to side to mix the food thoroughly.
Note: The unit should not be operated for more than one minute consecuvely
without stopping. When pureeing food, it is important to use enough liquid (juice,
milk or cream, broth, etc.) to produce a smooth mixture. Adjust the texture and
consistency of the mixture by adding more liquids or so solids.
Cauon: Always unplug the blender aer use. Keep the blender out of the reach of
children.
8
Using the Chopper aachment
The chopper aachment is ideal for meat, cheese, onions, garlic, vegetables etc.
the turbo switch (3) should be used when processing hard cheeses.
To use the chopper aachment:
1. Turn the blender sha (8) clockwise to detach it from the motor (4).
2. Aach the chopper blade and lid (11) to the chopper aachment (9).
3. Then aach the completed chopper aachment (9) to the motor (4) by
lining up the arrows. Then turning counter-clockwise (shown below).
4. To remove the chopper aachment (11), turn it counter-clockwise.
5. To reaach the blender sha, refer to page 7.
For the best results with the chopper aachment:
Cut up larger pieces of food before aempng to chop.
Do not ll past the indicated line.
Use the pulse funcon unl you have acquired your desired result.
Do not operate chopper aachment for longer than 30 seconds at a me
without stopping.
The chopper aachment is not suitable for hot food.
The rubber base helps keep the bowl in posion during chopping, and also
can be used as a lid when using the chopper aachment as a storage
container
9
How to operate the Balloon Whisk
Use the Balloon whisk aachment for large quanes, e.g. for whipping cream,
beang egg whites and mixing sponges and ready-mix desserts.
To use
1. Insert the balloon whisk (5) into the whisk gear box (7).
2. Aach the whisk gear box (7) to the motor (4) by lining up the arrows then
turning counter-clockwise.
3. Place the balloon whisk (5) into the container with the food you want to
whisk then switch to your desired speed seng. To detach the balloon
whisk, turn it clockwise.
For best results:
Use a wide container for the food.
When whipping cream, only whip up to 400ml of chilled cream (minimum
30% fat content).
Only whip up to 4 egg whites at one me.
Move the whisk clockwise when using the appliance.
10
Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Clean the motor (4) and the whisk gear box (7) with a damp cloth only.
2. The chopper aachments (9 & 11) may be rinsed under water but do not
submerge the gear box (7) in water.
3. All other parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher. However, aer processing
very salty food, you should rinse the blades right away. Also, be careful not to
use an excessive amount of cleaner in your dishwasher.
4. When processing coloured foods (e.g. carrots), the plasc parts of the hand
blender may become discoloured. Wipe these parts with vegetable oil before
washing or placing them in the dishwasher.

the fuse always replace it with a fuse that is of the same idencal rang as the
