American Innovations MicroMax GPS350 provides programmable power interruption and interference mitigation for a variety of applications and can be easily integrated into existing systems. The GPS350 uses a high-accuracy GPS receiver synchronized to the U.S. Naval Observatory atomic clock to precisely control power interruptions. This solution is suitable for applications requiring precise timing and synchronization, harmonics mitigation, load shedding, and other power quality issues.

CAUTION: Metal relay casing on the MicroMax GPS350 will get hot. Allow 5 - 10 minutes after interruption
stops before handling the unit.
CAUTION: Do not connect the MicroMax GPS350 to primary mains power.
WARNING: Before beginning any wiring to the MicroMax GPS350, ensure that power has been turned off at
the rectifier.

1 To interrupt the AC power:

Disconnect the DC output cable. Then connect one
of the MicroMax GPS350 relay cables to output.

Locate Power Source for MicroMax GPS350
1 Determine how to power the MicroMax GPS350 using one
of the following sources:

Tap Change Bar
a Rectifier — with power turned on to the rectifier, use a
voltmeter to locate a power source across any two
available AC taps. The MicroMax GPS350 requires 8 - 42
V AC.
b A 120 V AC convenience outlet with the 12 V DC wall
adapter.
c A DC source, such as a 10 - 60 V DC battery.
2 Turn off rectifier power.

to observe proper polarity, especially if a flyback
