Connecting to the NI-XNET CAN/LIN Connector
Caution To maintain product performance and accuracy specifications when using
the NI-XNET CAN/LIN port and NI transceiver cable(s), do not attach or mount the
transceiver overmold directly to the NI cDAQ-9134. Mount the overmolded section
of the transceiver cable at least 50.8 mm (2.00 in.) away from the NI cDAQ-9134.
Caution Do not hot-swap NI-XNET devices while the NI cDAQ-9134 is in a
hazardous location or connected to high voltages. If the NI cDAQ-9134 is not in a
hazardous location, you can connect and disconnect NI-XNET devices without
affecting operation.
Using the SD Card Removable Storage
Caution You must use the SD card slot cover to protect the SD card in hazardous
locations.
Caution Do not insert or remove SD cards unless power has been switched off or
the area is known to be nonhazardous.
