INSTALLING DAMPER CLAMP ACCESSORY (GA6080)

FOR VENTED OPERATION

You may use this heater as a vented product. There are three reasons for operating your heater in the

vented mode.

 1. Thereplacedoesnotmeettheclearancetocombustiblesrequirementsforvent-freeoperation.

 2. Stateorlocalcodesdonotpermitvent-freeoperation.

3. You prefer vented operation.

Ifreasonsnumber1or2aboveapplytoyou,youmustpermanentlyopenchimneyuedamper.The

damperclampwillkeepdamperopenandinsureventedoperation.

Seechartbelowforminimumpermanentueopeningyoumustprovide.Attachdamperclampsothe

minimumpermanentueopeningwillbemaintainedatalltimes.
