INSTALLATION
Install the Pump Mounting Bracket
1. Install the pump mounting bracket (item 2) on the
blower housing (supplied in the bagger kit 891003)
with four 1/4-20 x 3/4" machine screws (item 7) and
four 1/4"-20 top locking flange nuts (item 8).
2. On 60" Decks Only: Remove the plugs from the
top of the deck and install the bagger baffle (item 4)
on the deck with two 5/16-18 x 1" round head
square neck bolts (item 6) and two 5/16"-18 nyloc
flange nuts (item 5).
3. Install the blower assembly on the deck and pivot
the mounting bracket (item 2) into position so it
covers the discharge opening. Secure the bracket
to the deck with one 5/16-18 x 3" round head
square neck bolt (item 12), one spacer (item 13)
and one 5/16"-18 wing knob (item 16).
NOTE: Once the bracket is installed, you do not have to
remove the wing knob completely to remove the blower
from the deck. Loosen the wing knob almost all the way
and let the bolt head drop out of the slot.

Install Blower Belt and Belt Guard
1. Install the belt on the upper pulley of the spindle
and on the blower pulleys as shown in Figure 5.
2. Install the two 5/16-18 x 3" coupling nuts (item 18)
using two 5/16-18 x 3/4" round head square neck
bolts with LocTite patch (item 17). See Figure 6.
3. Install the bagger belt guard (item 1) with one
5/16-18 wing knob (item 16), two 3/8 x 1-1/2 flat
steel washers (item 15), and two 5/16-18 SEMS
bolts (item 14). See Figure 7.
NOTE: Before installing the belt guard, make sure the
guard mounting bolt is installed on the blower assembly.
If it is not, install one 5/16-18 x 1-1/2" round head square
neck bolt (item 9) on the blower assembly with one 5/16"
flat steel washer (item 10) and one 5/16"-18 jam nut
(item 11).

DO NOT operate mower unless guards are in
place or blower assembly and entire bagger
are attached.
Always install counterweights before
operating unit with bagger attached. Always
remove counterweights when bagger is
removed from the unit.
