A1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker before
proceeding.
A2. Remove remote driver enclosure, lenses and
suspension kit parts from the packaging and set
aside for next steps.
A3. Install remote driver enclosure and connect
building power using U.L. approved conduit, ttings,
and wire connectors. Make connections to house
AC conduit as shown in the wire diagrams on the
submittal drawing. If using J-Box (by others), run
wiring from the remote driver box to the J-Box.
The J-Box mounted to the structure must be rated
for 50lbs or more. The suspension bullets can be
mounted on ceiling by means of toggle screws or
all-threads (by installer).
A4. Install remaining cable suspension hardware to
the surface using mounting cordinates specied on
the submittal drawings. (also see draw 4 on the next
page)
A5. While supporting the xture, lift the entire xture
up to the suspension cables and insert cables into
cable grippers. The cable grippers will automatically
hold the inserted cable. Re-adjust the suspension
cable as specied at the cable gripper to shorten
and level the xture. IMPORTANT: cut excess
suspension cable slack at the gripper after adjusted
to the desired height.
A6. Feed the power cord through the nial on the
canopy near the J-Box. Connect and complete
wiring per submittal drawings referring to labels on
the wires. If there are multiple power cords, connect
them to the respective driver box per the labels
attached to cords and drivers.
A7. Push the excess wire into J-Box and secure
the canopy with the nial. Do not pinch the wires
between the canopy rim, ceiling surface, or J-Box
surface.
A8. Turn on power. (continued on next page)
