For Armstrong, Bruce and Robbins urethane hardwood flooring
To repair scratches and nicks
Preparation: Wipe damaged area with Armstrong Hardwood & Laminate Cleaner. (Not included
in kit)
Note: Deep scratches that cut into the wood may need to be sanded lightly with 100 grit
sandpaper.
Follow with 220 grit sandpaper. (Not included in kit).
Staining: Apply stain, following directions on the Touch-Up Marker. Start with the light color,
then progress to the darker color in the kit if necessary. Wipe excess using a clean (dry or damp)
cloth. (Not included in kit)
For some colors, several applications of color may be necessary to achieve desired results.
Allow stain to dry thoroughly.
Apply urethane: Apply a light, even coat, using a soft cloth. Allow to dry 30 minutes, then apply
a second coat.* Allow the second coat to dry for a minimum of four hours.* Abrade lightly with
sanding pad and wipe clean. Apply a third coat. Allow to dry 30 minutes.*
*Drying time may vary due to humidity conditions.
Filler: The Filler Stick can easily touch up nicks, chips and small scratches on Armstrong
(urethane) products. Rub Filler Stick over area to be filled. Fill gouge or crack with Filler Stick.

Remove excess from surface of flooring, using a clean cloth or Armstrong Information Card and
a small amount of Armstrong Hardwood & Laminate Cleaner, or low odor mineral spirits.
For Armstrong and Bruce laminate flooring
